Emma's pov:

I'm sitting on my bed thinking about how, now that Meredith knows how much i weigh, she'll leave me just like everyone else. As I'm thinking this, the person in question walks in. So, i prepare for her to tell me that she hates me, but instead she tells me, "Hey Emma, I wanted to know if you wanted to hang out together, I got your therapist to let you leave for a couple of hours. we can go where wherever you want." i look up, and say, " Sure, can we just walk around, i haven't been to the park in forever." She smiles, "Of course , and after, maybe i can show you where i work." I smile  back, " Okay." and with that, we leave.

As we're walking around the park, Meredith brings me over to a bench, " Look, I know I don't know you very well yet, but, can you tell me anything about when this first started?" I look down nervously, but I tell her anyway, "Well, dad never really liked me, I always knew that, but I had my friends at school, i realized they were all i needed, and then one day, none of them would talk to me. Finally, one of them told me why they weren't talking to me anymore. She said i just wasn't good enough to hang out with them, and they had finally realized it. I don't remember why I thought it, but I thought that, if I lost a few pounds, maybe they would like me again, and maybe, dad would too."

After i said this there was a long silence. 'Oh god, I said something bad, didn't I . She probably hates me now, and will leave me, like everyone else.' Meredith interrupts my thoughts by saying, "I can see you were deep in thought, and judging by the look on your face, it's not good. I was staying quiet because i was processing. It kills me that a girl as beautiful as you, has to go through such a horrible thing, and i truly do want to help  you get through this." I sigh in relief knowing she doesn't hate me,  and isn't leaving. Yet.
