........and my life will go on!'

With the last twirl she rested her feet and closed her eyes. It had been three months since she last did this...

ooh! How much had she missed it!

A sudden sound broke her trance and she opened her eyes to gaze at the sight in front. The whole hall roared with the sound of applause. Every one had stood up in appreciation of the immediate act.

As the realization finally hit her, she found a small smile forming on her lips. They liked the performance! This  was all that she had desired for, she loved to see people feel happy and she could do anything for that.

As the program ended, she made her way to the backstage, where she was greeted by her 'mates' as she called them, who came and congratulated her for her act. Being one of the most influential figure in the country had it's own perks, the first one was being buzzed around by swarms of people, who always wanted to grab her attention by any way possible.

As she was about to leave, she heard someone call her name. She halted on her steps and turned around to find the source of the voice.

" That was one fine performance Ahana, I must say you seemed absolutely natural.. " this was her new manager, Harshad.

" well..."

Before she could even reply, a voice echoed down the hallway, and curtailed out the conversation.

" who do you think you are to address her by her first name?!"

With this her assistant, Alice, came storming into the scene. When she reached in front of Ahana, for a moment it seemed as if she had forgotten that she was in the middle if a conversation, as she ignored Harshad and  suddenly hugged Ahana  tightly, and then began to speak to her, a bit breathlessly.

" You were phenomenal out there ma'am! I loved the performance thoroughly, you are really a great dancer ma'am! "

" Thank you, Alice " replied Ahana.

Alice could often be a handful, but she was adorable and Ahana could never have had a better assistant than her. For the world she was just an assistant but to her, she was like a sister.

When she finally finished her appreciation, she abruptly turned around to face Harshad, who had been frowning ever since Alice came in the view.

" Never dare to take ma'am's  name again, only her family has the right to call her by her name. And from the information that I've encountered, you are not associated with her in any way, other than a mere professional contract."

By now Ahana was struggling to keep her laugh in check, it was really a bad day for Harshad she supposed. She wondered if she would have to search for a new manager the next day, if Alice continued on with the conversation a bit more.

Harshad sworled at her and began to speak," hey, I was not talking to you, so you can stay away from this......"

But to his great dismay, Alice royally ignored him and continued the conversation with Ahana.

" It's such a pity, that sir was not present here, he would have loved it more than any of us, I'm sure."

" Yeah you're right, it's almost been 3 months since u last saw him. He's been busy with the new franchise in Belgium.." sighed Ahana. She never really showed it to the world, but she missed her ever-so-busy husband, a lot. But he had his work and so she had to accept the situation in hand.

" But wasn't he supposed return on 12th?" Alice enquired, and Ahana held herself from sighing again.

" Yes, he is, I've been so occupied with this event that I almost forgot the dates." She said." I don't even remember today's date. What is it Alice?"

" Oh! It's 12th, I think" replied Alice a monotonous tone.

This rang a bell in Ahana's mind.

God! She had absolutely forgotten that, her husband was coming home tonight, she had planned upon discussing something very important with him when he would come back.

Without even waiting to share the last pleasantries, she literally ran to their home without any regard of other's thoughts,
she had to prepare everything before he came home. Oh! So much work was left to finish. Today everything had to be just on point. This was really apprehensive on her part.

As soon as she reached home, she began to prepare everything.
The food was arranged according to his taste, the house was decorated with scented candles, she even wore the dress that he liked the most, everything was arranged according to his preference. She even gave the servants a day off, so that she could have him all to herself, atleast for the evening.

Today she had to do this, but she was scared deep inside, there had been really few instances since their marriage when she had thought of contradicting his decision. She knew he would always do what was the best for them, and she had ample amount of faith on him. They were more or less on the same page in every aspect of life, but this was the only point on which their views differed from each other.

At around 10 in the evening, when Ahana had almost started to fall off the chair due to her drowsiness, the bell of the house rang. She literally ran to answer it, once she reached in front of the door, she took a moment to steady herself and brushed off all the creases on her dress with her hands. She took one deep breath in and released it with a sigh.

Phew! Now she was ready to meet him. She opened the door slowly, only to be greeted by his sincere smile which brightened even more upon seeing her.

She lead him in and they began to proceed towards their room when he spoke.

" So many decorations, and such a nice dress, am I forgetting something that I shouldn't? Angel."

She smiled at his question and took his hand in hers." None that I can think of right now, I just wanted to be with you for a while, I missed you....." She replied.

" I missed you too" he said while looking into her eyes.

When they reached their room, Ahana started to feel nervous again and began fidgeting with her fingers.
She had to talk to him about this, but she didn't know how! Ooh! It was so damn frustrating, she was the owner of one of the leading fashion houses in India, and she was well know for her confidence and fearless attitude, but all her abilities seemed to just vanish when she had to deal with him.

Araav knew his wife too well and he was well aware of the fact that she only behaved in this manner when she wanted to contradict with him on something. It was not everyday that they used to have contradictory opinions about something, and to be honest, he actually liked it when they didn't agree on a matter,as it was always amusing to watch all the tricks she tried to pull up in order to make him agree to her notion.

He went towards her and and made her sit before him, then with all the gentleness, he asked her about what the matter was, but she swiftly denied to it.

" You know you can't hide things from me Ahana, tell me what's going on in your mind."

" No it's nothing.... It's ...just...." She began to reply again.

"Ahana!"

After about a few minutes of silence, finally she meekly spoke.

" I want to talk about Amaira!"
