" I want to talk about Amaira!"

As the words escaped her mouth, Araav's face grew serious and his body tensed. Ahana sensed the change in him but decided to continue her task. She took a deep breath and began.

" Look, Araav I know that you love her a lot and that is the only reason why you treat her this way, but I think it should stop. It's for her own betterment."

Araav got up from her side and strode towards the balcony. She followed him close behind, and saw him standing by the farthest corner of the place. She went towards him and gently touched his shoulder, to which he turned around to face her.

" Please think of this Araav, consider it for once" she continued." I know you want to protect her from every thing evil, but that doesn't mean you'll confine her inside your shell so much, that she'll become a prisoner in her own world."

Araav took a long breath and left it with a sigh, " she is safe here, Ahana, and I can't even think of  imprisoning her, or even you for that matter, but I just want her to stay with us, always.

And what is wrong in it?

She's Araav Singhania's daughter,
she is entitled to have the best of everything and I'll never settle for anything less than perfect for our daughter. She gets the best of teachers from the state to home school her, I don't understand why you feel that this is not the best for her!"

Ahana let out a sigh. Why was it so difficult to make her husband understand the value of living a normal life. Well he had never had a 'normal' childhood or life himself, nor had she, but maybe their situations were distinctive, and so we're their views.

She took a breath and began her speech yet again, in the hope of knocking some sense into his head.

" I understand everything that you're saying, and I know what makes you feel that way...... You have every right to protect her as a father, but I just want her to have a normal childhood, something that none of us had... I want to get out of the clutches of the past and I don't want her to be life me.... You have to agree Araav, she needs to go out of these walls and out of this world that only considers her as your daughter and your heir... I want her to enjoy her life the way she wants to, make friends with anyone she chooses, be able to connect to the outer world....... She needs to go to a proper school and away from us for once... You have to understand the value of this arrangement!

Please let her go to a normal school!"

Araav was listening to everything that she spoke with a lot of concentration. He knew that she was right this time, he had to let Amaira out of his hold, and he had been thinking about the same for sometime now, but that need not to be told to his preety wife who was busy in making him understand her point of view. He always enjoyed watching Ahana like this... This was the woman he had married, the girl he fell in love with, it was thus Ahana that he loved and admired the most...

" Ok, I agree"

" No, you don't understand Araav--- wait! WHAT!! You agree!" With that she jumped up and down like a child who had just seen her favourite ride in a carnival.

He laughed at her antics.. She was still the same.

" Yeah I agree, but on one condition." He replied, trying to act strict in from of her, but failing miserably.

" Done" she chimed.

" Let me say the condition first! I will choose the right school for her and only after I'm convinced will I let her enroll in that.... And you'll have to come with me there. Deal" he voiced out, in the most professional manner, accustomed in dealing with business associates.

" Deal, Mr. Singhania!"

" Ok, Mrs. Singhania!"
