I don't know what to think or do so I slip it under my pillow and think long and hard so Luke was the kid we hit. He did it on purpose but why?... Is it because of the guy using him or because he wants revenge but for what?....... Okay next is who is this person and how can he love me if I don't even know him?.,.

3 long hours later___________________________

Dale and Nate walk in and show me how to use the wheel chair. I'm surprised I even got out of the bed, but Nate is pretty convincing. Nate had a smug smile on his face and I wondered why?... My question was soon answered. " so are you ready for our date, we are just gonna go to the food court but we'll have fun".

"Oh, gosh no are you kidding I need to get ready and look pretty" Nate being Nate talked to me about it.

"First of all your already stunning you don't need crap loads of make-up like all those other girls who don't see there natural beauty unlike you who is the most beautiful girl of all".

"Thanks, Nate" and at that he took me to the food court.

Me and Nate talked for what seemed like forever and ate some decent food. He did however manage to sneak a quick peck on the cheek. Yeah, I know that's so lame but I think it's cute. Nate said goodbye and walked out the door. I thought everything was starting to fall into place until.

The doctor walked in again it's now 10:41 pm. Why is he coming in so late what could he possibly tell me that I don't already know. He moves closer toward me and puts out his hand. Holding a letter " looks like you've got an admirer or something like that Jessica, if I may say so not trying to but in or anything but who are these from, is it from someone you know?"

I presumed and told him " I don't actually know the person, but I think I'm gonna find out" I paused then continued " My turn, if you don't mind me asking, who was the person in the truck next to us the person we hit?"

The doctor scratched the back of his neck " His name is Luke and he's actually not that bad not a lot of injuries, I shouldn't have told you that but it seemed like you needed it".

"Thanks"

"No problem" he gave me the letter/note and walked out.

I forgot to mention that your "pretty boy" Nate is bad news. He's done some things in the past and is looking to kill you and your family. See awhile ago he went to prison for a year just ask him. I know why he wants your family. But darling love, don't worry about it I'll watch over you maybe one day you'll actually get to meet me.

I was confused I don't trust this unknown person. I mean why should I, I don't even know the person. Just because someone writes a letter or whatnot doesn't mean you trust them. My head started to hurt from trying to figure this out so I laid my head down gently. Hoping to get some good rest, lord knows I need it.

A week later______________________

I'm out of the hospital now I have been for two days. Today I'm going back to school, and I'm nervous. Jennifer came over the other day with chocolates and cards from her friends who really want to be my friends.
