Himchan's efforts to look for someone qualified enough to take the position came up short. Everyone had drive and eagerly wanted to join, but none of them could work a computer like Jinki could. Yongguk was really starting to get worried now because they still have no idea who ordered the hit on their former member, or if it could've been the new gang that everyone's been talking about.
Business went on as usual at the shop, but everyone's been on high alert. But this has been really hurting their sales because they weren't going out as often to scope for more parts and other gangs didn't want a hit on their head for working with Matoki. Yongguk looked over their profits and they'd really need to cut back on the luxuries they enjoyed having before. They weren't filthy rich, but they were living a good life. At least when they weren't in this much danger.
Yongguk moved the papers on his desk aside and made his way downstairs to the main shop. Besides their illegal business, their garage was still doing good. His shop had built up a good reputation and had some loyal customers, most with no connection to gang life.
"Hey boss!"
The leader turned his head towards the voice and saw Junhong, looking bright and giddy despite the circumstances.
"Found an abandoned Ferrari when we went hunting, we're gonna be raking in some big bucks!" Junhong exclaimed. Yongguk offered a smile and nodded, allowing him to continue on. He proceeded to speak excitedly about the car, it being the first luxury one he's ever worked on. The older looked at him fondly, wishing he still had Junhong's youthful innocence. He had been particularly protective of him since he's the group's youngest, being only 19, and because he took the younger under his wing when he found him on the streets at 13.
Yongguk left him so he could work on the car and went to check on Jongup, who had been in charge of the weapons storage. Jongup had been cleaning his handgun when he looked up to Yongguk entering.
"Hi hyung, what's up?" He asked, his eyes flicking back to his gun.
"Just checking on how everyone's doing considering..."
"Yeah, I understand." Jongup replied quickly. Yongguk felt bad for always having the other doing his dirty work, though Jongup never complained. Silence filled the room until they heard the door open.
"Hyung!" Daehyun yelled far too loud for their liking.
"Please, this is my sanctuary. My place of peace." Jongup whined.
"I know! But hyung!" Daehyun said, focusing on Yongguk. "I found someone who's actually good with computers this time!"
Their leader perked up at the news and Daehyun led him to where their next candidate had been.
"He's with Himchan-hyung right now, he interviewed him for a bit."
Daehyun opened the door to Himchan's office in their garage and Yongguk was met with a shorter man, plump lips in an 'o' shape when he saw the leader.
"Nice to meet you, I'm Yongguk." He said, extending his hand for the other to shake.
"Hello, I'm Youngjae."
