Description of Experiment: Since he likes space so much, why not allow him the spacey experience of weightlessness, permanently? Surgery was done on the subject's skeleton and chemicals were added in order to make his bones as light as possible. Side effects are that the subject's bones can be very easily snapped in half. More chemicals were added and modifications were done in order to get the subject to float, resulting in his respiratory system also becoming weak. Just for fun, we added chemicals to his skin to give them glowing spots and galaxy patterns. They were accidentally injected in his left eye, causing it to ooze a green plasma. There is a chain on the subject to keep him from floating away or being stuck on the ceiling.

History: While he was the first captured, he was the third of his class to become an experiment due to the 2 other students intervening, and how long his experiment took. He was pretty confused after he woke up, floating on a chain. He got pretty angry at Junko once she came back to the operating room to check on him. To set an example, she brought him down and then quickly and easily broke his arm, which seemed to scare the experiment enough to shut him up. The subject doesn't move much out of fear of breaking his bones and needs assistance leaving his cell because of his inability to touch the ground, but can still move down by pulling on the chain.

K.Y Notes: Kaito is anxious, always, I can tell just by looking at him, he tends to remain floating in the air, but not moving much, likely because of his encounter with Miss Enoshima. When Kaito is in a good mood occasionally he'll allow me to move him down during my visits. A major topic of discussion for him is Subject #38, Maki Harukawa, as well as Subject #48, Shuichi Saihara. The trio appears to have a close relationship with one another, which could possibly prove useful in the future. No special instructions from Miss Enoshima have been given regarding this experiment.
