I've been enjoying my time here and was sad this trip was starting to come to an end. Rolando has been a dream to me and I'm still waiting on a nail to fall for me to step on. It hasn't occurred yet and he's just as mysterious as the day I met him. I'm scared that I may be falling in love with him. Today he mentioned he would be handling some business and won't see me until the evening. I decided to actually spend some time with Autumn and fill her in on all this juicy information. It was lunch time and of course we were drinking and causing a scene laughing so hard.
"Girl it sound like you've found your husband cause bitch if YOU don't cuff him I WILL!" She exclaimed looking dead serious.
"I know Autumn I know but there's still so much I don't know about him. I mean he is so quiet which I don't mind but it scares me because it's not like I've known him my whole life. I won't lie though the mysteriousness definitely turns me on even more though.", I said taking a sip from my drink. Someone caught my eye and I instantly remembered who she was!
"Angelica", I said out loud waving at her.
Her eyes lit up as she saw me and smiled as she headed in my direction. For some reason I was a little bit nervous.
"Naomi, how are you?" She asked as I stood up to give her a hug. She held me for awhile not letting go as she caressed my back. When she pulled away she grabbed my hands gently.
"I'm doing well Angelica, you looking good as usual", I said taking in her beauty. I mean gosh she is just absolutely gorgeous. It almost made me feel insecure.
"No Naomi, you are the beautiful one" she said taking one of my curls and tucking it behind my ear as she caressed my cheek. I wasn't sure what was going on... but I think I like it.🤔
"Thank you", I blushed.
"Listen I'm having another poetry night and wanted to personally invite you. I'm glad I ran into you when I did. Will you come? You can bring as many guests as you'd like." She said with hope in her eyes.
"I would love to come", I told her thinking of inviting Rolando to accompany me tonight.
"That's great! I'll be seeing you later then huh?" She said wrapping her arms around me for a few seconds longer before releasing me. As she headed off Autumn gave me a look.
"Sooooo", She said looking at me.
"What", I asked innocently.
"Girl you know she like you right", Autumn said giving me an eye.
"How you know she like me? Maybe she just overly friendly", I laughed it off but the thought did cross my mind.
"She want that ass Naomi", Autumn got up and started shaking her ass.
Ignoring her I went to the bar to get another drink and felt arms wrap around me.
"Hey babygirl" I heard Rolando say into my ear. He kissed my ear and neck leaving me feeling like taking him right there. I loved how he didn't care who was around whenever he shows his affection. It makes me feel so special and it's not something that I'm used to especially with my last relationship.
"Hey baby", I said happily turning around to kiss him fully on the lips. His tongue snuck out to deepen the kiss until we heard someone clear their throat.
"I don't mean to interrupt but is he going to be your plus one?" I turned around and saw Angelica behind me smiling up at Rolando.
"Yes" I responded laughing.
"Looks like I got some competition", she said before walking off winking at me.
"What's going on", asked a very confused Rolando.
"Oh nothing hunni we are just going to attend her poetry viewing tonight. I met her earlier during the trip and she seems very sweet." I said nonchalantly as I grabbed his hand.
"Sounds lovely. Glad I could be the date for someone as beautiful as you are Naomi. I'd love to stay and chat but I have some business to attend to." He replies kissing me before walking away without another word.
His words are so final and believe it or not that turns me on. He takes control and he is definitely a man I wouldn't mind following. I pray this is the man for me because I have never wanted somebody so bad. He's perfect. Too perfect. I can't help but find myself waiting for the other shoe to drop.

I stood in the crowd watching him kiss her like how he should be kissing me. My blood boiled watching how publicly he exclaimed his love for her. For years I've waited and tried to plant seeds to get him to be mine but no advances worked. This bitch "Naomi" is in the fucking way. No one will stop me from claiming what's rightfully mine and that is Rolando Hamilton. Little does she know she has started a war with me without even knowing. I've got a plan to get this man all to myself and I'll kill if I have to. HE IS MINE! Smiling, I disappeared into the crowd ready to put my plan into action.
