Chapter 2

I stood there and multiple scenarios crossed my mind. Should I smash this plate of food in his face? No this food is not about to be wasted because I'm hurt. Well I do have this glass of wine. Nah chill Naomi you need this. I sighed and walked past him and set my glass and plate down on the table and turned around.

"My belongings will be packed by the end of the night and tomorrow morning I'm signing the lease over to you", I said surprisingly calm.

"Listen baby I'm sorry you had to find out like this, but thank you for leaving", he said to me with a smile.

"Aaron papi what's going on", said the woman he had in my home wearing my silk robe.

"No this bitch is not wearing my motherfucking robe", I said under my breath in shock.

"Kelly please go back into the room while I figure out her living arrangements", he said wrapping his arms around her.

"Daddy you're finally leaving her!", she said as her eyes lit up.

"Yes baby I'm leaving her", he said looking back at me with guilt in his eyes.

"Good because I'm pregnant again, and I don't want another abortion", she said and looked at me with a smirk.

As soon as the words left her mouth I looked at Aaron and I'm sure he saw that the shit was about to hit the fucking fan. Before I could even think I lunged for him.

"You motherfucking bitch how dare you do this fucked up shit to me!", I yelled punching him one good time in the face. I pushed him and he fell to the ground as I began to stomp on his chest wishing it would hurt like mine does.

"After everything I've done for you Aaron, she's fucking pregnant!", I yelled grabbing the lamp on the table.

"No please don't hurt him", I heard Kelly yell as she grabbed my arm.

I looked at her with disgust written all over my face then back down at her hand as she released me.

"Praise God you're pregnant with a child cause I almost backhanded you", I spat out at her.

I looked down at Aaron his nose was bloody and I felt satisfied for the first time in my life. I sat the lamp back down on the table and shook my head.

"Kids Aaron, I wanted kids and a family", I said as the tears welled up in my eyes.

"I'm sorry Naomi", he said holding his nose.

"I'm sorry too", I said as I walked into the dining room and sat down and began to eat my dinner. "Now go pack my shit so I can leave."

After eating my bags were packed faster then I could even think to imagine. Aaron began bringing my suitcases down to my car and I had the last suitcase in my hand. I turned and looked around this apartment that I had called home that was now a bad memory. I looked at the picture of Aaron holding me and took it in my hands and threw it against the wall. I watched the glass pieces shatter against the wood floor.

"Just go already", Kelly walked out and said to me. No the fuck this bitch did not just utter another word to me.

I dropped my suitcase and walked up and smacked the shit out of her. It wasn't her stomach she will be fine as I grabbed my shit and headed to my car walking past Aaron. I packed the last of my things into the car and turned back to face the apartment. To the left of me was Aaron's Honda. I smiled as I looked at the apartment key on my key ring and took it and marked fuck you into the hood of his car. I saw a brick and threw it into the passenger window breaking it. I looked at the apartment key and took it off my key chain and threw inside the car.

I hopped into my BMW and began to pull out of the parking spot and out of the apartment complex. I picked up my phone to call my best friend and tell her I would be staying a couple days when I saw a missed call from my mother. It was surprising because me and my mothers relationship wasn't the best and I left home angry. She rarely called me unless she needed to being the prideful woman she was. It can wait I thought and called up my best friend Autumn.

"Hello my sexy beautiful friend of mine, what can I do for you?", she sang into the phone.

"Give me a place to stay and keep me from blowing mine up", I replied to her laughing.

"Oh shit, no what the fuck happened and I'm on my motherfucking way", she said and I even heard her front door close.

"I'll tell you about it when I get there and don't bother leaving Autumn I'm almost to your apartment", I said knowing my best friend wasn't going to let this go. I heard a car door close and a car start

"Alright I'm just going to pick up some ice cream from Marble Slab", she said slowly into the phone.

"The one that's conveniently next to my apartment, Autumn come on I need you", I said laughing while a tear fell.

"Fine but tomorrow Aaron's life is going to be cut short", she said turning off her car.

I pulled up and saw her getting out of her car. She hung up the phone and the car didn't even fully stop moving before she opened my door.

"Damn girl can I park the car", I said laughing as I turned off my car.

"My baby", she said pulling my head to her chest. I welcomed the hug and after she helped me carry the bags up.

"My mother called and left a voicemail", I said to her as we entered her apartment.

"Listen to it because you know it's not like your mother to call to say hi", she said grabbing a bottle of wine.

"Oh alright", I said and pulled my phone out. I hit play on the message and heard my moms voice through the phone. I put it on speaker and set it down on the counter in front of me.

"Baby, you're great grandmother passed away, call me back as soon as you can", she said her voice sounding shaky.

"Shit fuck this wine we need Jack Daniels and coke", Autumn said pulling out the whiskey and coke.

If I thought I was hurting then my heart felt broken now. I sank to the floor as a scream left my body and the tears flooded down my face. I felt Autumn's arms wrap around me as I cried into her chest. Why me?
