Chapter 5 - Team 7

"How did you get here, loser?"

"Shut it, Sasuke." I grab my headband. "You see this, this means I'm a ninja." Ino, Shikamaru, and Choji walk into the classroom. "Hey Ino look, I graduated, I'm a ninja now."

Ino started to smile, but she stopped when Sasuke looked over. "Stop being so annoying (y/n), everyone in this room graduated." Ino walks past me and she sits with Shikamaru and Choji in the back of the classroom. We all sat in the classroom for about in hour waiting for Iruka sensei to start assigning us to our teams. Since there was two extra people that graduated, a team of four was needed. That team of four ended up being Naruto, Sakura, Myself, and sadly Sasuke.

"Where is that guy?" I stomp my foot on the ground. "He said to meet him on top of this roof at three."

"Yeah I'm with (y/n)." Naruto gave me a thumbs up.

"Would you two shut up, your annoying!" Sakura snapped. "Kakashi sensei will get here when he gets here."

"Yeah whatever Sakura, nobody asked you." I stick my tongue out at her.

"Hello guys sorry I'm late." Kakashi sits down on the ground in front of us. "Well why don't we introduce ourselves, and say one interesting thing about ourselves, I'll starting. I'm Kakashi Hatake, and I enjoy reading Novels. Alright now how about you the pink haired girl."

"I'm Sakura Haruno, and I like someone."

"Okay, I guess that was an interesting fact." He looks at Sasuke. "How about you?"

"I'm Sasuke Uchiha, and I don't like anyone."

"Well how about you two?"

"I'm Naruto Uzumaki, and I'm going to become Hokage some day!"

"I'm (Y/n) Senju, and I'll become an even better Ninja then Grandfather, the second Hokage, Was!" Naruto and I bump each others fists. "And no is going to stand in our way!" We both say in unison.

"Well you two definitely are different from the other two." Kakashi stands up. "Follow me to the training field, We are going to have our first team exercise."
We follow him to the field. "Okay well normally I would have you four try and take these bells from me." Kakashi dangles two bells in the air. "But I think, I'm going to have you four fight over them, in teams of two. Which ever team doesn't get a bell will go back to the academy." Kakashi tied the two bells around a tree branch, and he paired me and Naruto up against Sakura and Sasuke. "Now you have till lunch time to get the bells." Kakashi disappeared in a puff of smoke, and Naruto made a quick dash for the bells but Sasuke cut him off with a kick to his face.

"Those bells belong to me and Sasuke losers." Sasuke tried to climb the as Sakura punched Naruto in the face as he tried to get up, only for Naruto to disappear in a puff of smoke. "What! Was that a clone?" The real Naruto appeared out of the tree, and fell on Sasuke.

"(Y/n) now!"

"Right!" I create some hand seal. "Multi Shadow Clone Jutsu!" Four clones of myself appeared, and three of them immediately ran towards Sakura and Sasuke. The fourth one threw me towards the branch the bells were dangling from, before it disappeared. I just barley catch and grab ahold of the branch, but Sakura throws one of my clones at me causing me to lose my grip. I fall from the branch and land on top of Naruto. "That didn't work."

"Sakura you go get the bells, I'll hold this two off." Sasuke creates four hand seals and finishes with the tiger hand seal. The tiger seal it's most commonly used with fire jutsu, but I thought I was the only one from our class that could you elemental ninjutsu. I quickly weave four hands seals of my own to counter his jutsu.

"Fire Style: Fireball Jutsu!"

"Water Style: Water Bomb Jutsu!"

Sasuke spews flames out of his mouth, and I spew water, they both hit each other and block each other out. Steam is released from the collision of out jutsu's. "Damn I can't see anything! Naruto go for the bells!" I duck as a mixture of Kunai and Shuriken fly over my head. I create the same hand seals from before. "Multi Shadow Clone Jutsu." With the coverage of the steam my clones can hang back without being seen.

"Fire Style: Fireball Jutsu!" Sasuke spews more fire at me, but I dodge it, and back flip into the near by steam. I stand onto of the water, and a wire wraps around my waist tying my arms down as well. The steam clears revealing not only Sasuke holding the wire, thats wrap around me, but all forty one of my clones. All of the clones but one disappear.

"Fire Style: Dragon Flame Jutsu!" Sasuke Breaths Fire onto the wire and it quickly travels towards me.

My last clone creates the proper hand seals for my water bomb Jutsu. Before disappearing my clones shouts. "Water Style: Water Dragon Jutsu!" A large dragon of water forms from the stream and fly's over the top of me and slams into Sasuke. My clone disappears. "Water Style: Water Bomb Jutsu!" I spew water onto the fire that was racing towards me. I break free from the wire and see Naruto and Sakura throwing each other off of themselves over and over again, and I see Sasuke past out against the tree. I quickly climb the tree and undo the bells. As I come down the tree I look at one of the bells and place it in Sasuke's open hand. I see why you were always so cocky in class, I just hope from today going forward, you'll realize we're equals. I look up to see Sakura and Naruto staring at me. "What?"

"Why did you give Sasuke one of the bells?" Naruto screams. "Now we're all going back to the academy."

"Well I should send you back to the academy, since the object of this test was to work together." Kakashi appeared behind Naruto startling him. "But since (y/n) realized I said each team needed a bell, I guess you all pass."

"Alright (y/n)! Good job!" Naruto gave me a thumbs up.

Iruka's pov

"And you were worried they'd fail." Asuma Sarutobi pats me on my back.

"You did a good job, teaching them Iruka, now it's time they show the whole village what they are capable of." Lord Third said before looking back into the crystal ball. You did it you two, keep getting stronger, and become the ninja I know you can be.
