Luke yawned as he lifted his sunglasses slightly before rubbing his eye and letting his gaze fall on Michael. "Get me an iced mocha with whipped cream and carmel." He mumbled and the man nodded.

"Can do, beautiful." He said and Luke opened the door for Michael as they walked into Starbucks.

Luke stood by his side on his phone, and Michael began talking about the album he's working on with his friends. He sounded stoked, but Luke's attention was elsewhere than his speech on perfect harmonies and matched pitch.

"Uh-huh." Luke nodded and then put his phone away after making plans with Rayleigh. "Do you go in today?"

Michael checked his watch before shrugging his shoulders. "We scheduled for later on around two since he has things to do today, but I'm not sure."

Luke hooked their arms together and then leaned his head on his shoulder before closing his eyes. "Are you tired?" Michael asked as he rubbed Luke's head.

"Kinda. Some caffeine should help." He yawned and then Michael turned around. "What -"

"Excuse me?" He heard and he turned around too at the gentle voice. "Can I get a picture?"

Michael looked at Luke and the blond let him go so he could take a picture with the girl. He shoved his hands in his pockets and then turned around, deciding that he wasn't relevant and that it wouldn't take too long. But that was before Michael set a hand on his shoulder and gave him a smile.

"Hey babe, can you take this for us?" He asked and Luke nodded as he took the girl's phone from her hand.

He opened the camera and let out a quiet, "Smile," before snapping about four or five photos of the two before handing it back to the girl.

"Thank you so much." She grinned happily and Michael nodded.

"Of course." He replied and the girl hung around behind them so she could probably order a drink as well.

Luke looked at the floor and then he felt Michael nudge him. "You can smile, you know. You don't have to look so mean and grumpy."

"I'm too sleepy to look happy." He stretched and Michael wrapped an arm around his waist. "Mm, what if your little fan girl squeals about this online?"

"Oh, yeah," Michael remembered as he let him go. "- does it bother you?"

Luke shrugged as he pushed his sunglasses up and pulled his jacket around him some more. "Not a lot. I mean... I guess I won't mind it but wouldn't it be chaotic on your end?"

Michael chuckled as they stepped up to the cashier. "Love, everything I do is chaotic. I can handle some dating rumors." He promised and Luke nodded as he pulled his phone out again.

-

"So you finally have a day to hang out?" Rayleigh asked and he nodded. "You're looking good for someone with a job that pays under twenty an hour."

"Thanks, Michael pampers me. Cash isn't a problem now." He admitted as he took a drink of his iced tea. "I look like a million dollars even though I'm worth like ten and a cheeseburger."

She laughed and he leaned back into his chair as she showed off her promise ring. "Last night my boyfriend promised that after college we'd get married. It's the most expensive and meaningful thing I own."

"That's so cute," he gushed and she smiled as she admired the band. "- I'm happy for you two."

"Thanks, Lu." She mixed her long island tea with her straw. "He's the sweetest. I'm glad I met him those years ago."

"Didn't he spill the drinks he ordered on you?"

"He did," she rolled her eyes. "- but it's okay. I wear his clothes now. If they get ruined, I don't have to deal with it."

"That is some goals." He looked over at the view from Michael's balcony. "We should double date one day."

"You finally find a man and the first thing you wanna do is double date?" She asked and Luke snickered as he turned to her.

"You don't wanna know the first thing I did -"

She gasped as she threw a toothpick at him and Luke picked it up when it fell on his lap. "You naughty, naughty boy! Was it before the first date?"

Luke hummed as he thought. "I reckon it was after, but the thought crossed my mind before we even talked about this all." He confessed and she shook her head.

"You better be safe," she tsk'ed and he laughed. "- and you better not have done it where I'm sitting."

"All the chairs look the sa -"

"Luke!" She yelled as she stood up. "Oh my goodness, you're disgusting."

"Ray, he's my sugar daddy. What did you expect? Him to drop cash on me just for a kiss and a hand shake?" He asked and she leaned against the railing on the balcony.

"So, you guys aren't dating then?"

"No, we are. I think." Luke thought about the situation. "We've gone out on dates, but if you mean did he ask me to be his boyfriend with roses and chocolates then no. We just made it unofficially official and don't screw anyone else."c

"You better tie him down. You have it good here." She advised and Luke shrugged as he met her eyes. "Real good."

"Staying at his penthouse is the least of my worries if we fall apart." He scoffed as he set his glass down. "The rumors are probably my only concern about it all... and the cash since I quit my day job."

"That's what you get."

"I know." He huffed as he rubbed his temples. "I'll live though. As long as no one approaches me on the street then it's all good. I can handle tweets and posts. And as long as I don't spend all the wads he hands me, I'll be fine."

"I'm sure you can and will." She nodded and he rubbed his collarbone. "Tell me about him."

Luke's cheeks went red almost instantly. "Michael?" He asked and she nodded. "Why don't we talk about your soon-to-be-fiancé?"

"We've been talking about him forever. Michael's the new one here. Tell me about him." She urged and Luke ran a hand through his hair.

"What do you wanna know?" He asked and she shrugged.

"Everything that won't disgust me." She narrowed down the details and he tapped his nails on the armrest of the chair.

"Well..."
