(Y/n)'s face was red as she wrote on the piece of paper that was in front of her, she slowly made sure that her penmanship was on point.
Once she was finished, she carefully reread it and placed it in an envelope, she sealed it and placed a small kiss on the opening. She sighed nervously and began to walk toward his office, that was lucky empty

L walked to his desk, he sat down and went to type, but when he opened his laptop, He paused once he saw an envelope. He slowly picked it up and opened it. His eyes widen as he read it,
L please say you'll wait for me. I'll grow up someday, you'll see. Saving all my kisses just for you, signed with love, forever true.

L slowly reread the message once more, he sighed and walked over to her room. He arrived at her room, (y/n)'s tear drops fell like rain that day. When L told (Y/n) what he had to say,
"(Y/n), (y/n), please don't cry. You'll forget me by and by, you're just fifteen and I'm twenty two. And (y/n), I just can't wait for you."
L turned around and left, he could still hear (y/n)'s sobs from his office. L couldn't help but feel bad for the little girl, but he knew that it was for the best.

"I will be gone for a long time," L said to the group of kids, he had noticed Mello and (Y/n) staring at him from the back of the group. When he made eye contact with (Y/n), she quickly looked away.
"There is a case in Japan that I will be helping with, it is very important that no one will try to contact me. This is a very dangerous case, and there is a high chance of me dying." L paused, when he saw (Y/n)'s eyes widen. She then looked up at him, her eyes began to water. His heart started to ache.
"I want you all to be safe and I'll try my hardest to come back to all of you." Before he could finish his speech, he saw (Y/n) walk out of the room. L made eye contact with Mello, but Mello only shrugged.
"That's all, thank you." L then walked away from the kids, he could feel his heart break as he remembered (Y/n)'s eyes. Knowing that he wouldn't see her for many years.

L had made a lot of success through out the case, but throughout all the victories and that fact that he won the Kira case. But there was one thing that haunted his memory. The words that (Y/n) said to him.

L knew what he had to do, he quickly packed up his clothes and his sweets. He would return home and explain to (y/n) that his heart was filled with her memory, He would ask his (y/n) to marry him.
He would catch a plane back and drive all the way to Wammy's house, but things weren't like they were before. He approached (y/n)'s room, he knocked on it loudly. When someone opened the door he saw that it was an older and more mature looking (Y/n). Her beauty was more vibrant, and he couldn't help but stare. He knew that even before he left that he loved her, but it was wrong. He was eight years older then her, but now she was nineteen now. He looked into her eyes, he stared at him in confusion.
He spilt his heart out to her, every waking moment on being away from her. He apologized many times about the time he broke her heart. He bought up how he couldn't stop thinking about her and that he wanted to marry her,once he was done he waited for her response.
L's tear drops fell like rain that day, when he heard what (y/n) had to say.
"Lawliet, Lawliet, please don't cry. You'll forget me by and by. It's been five yours since you've been gone. Lawliet, I married your successor Mello."
