Like a ray of sunshine,
I may burn too bright
For you to handle.
But you notice
Whenever there's a shift
In my moods and emotions.
Yet you're there,
I know you cared,
In ways more than I know.
You're just too shy
Too come too near to the sun.
For I might burn you.
But things have changed.
Yet you came,
Yes you did.
You burned with the sun.
Every ups and downs,
You were there to calm me down.
I may never know why or how,
All I know is that
You're here beside me now.
