For the past week or so I've been keeping to myself not really talking to anyone besides my mom, my brother and Cassidy. I know it's been hurting Prince that I've been avoiding him at school and blowing off all his calls and texts. I didn't know the effects of a heartbreak would be like this.

I forgot to mention Cassidy gave him my number a few days after I broke it off with Drey, she said I need to rebound so I gave it a shot for the day but I just didn't feel the need to talk to him so I stopped the same day.

This brings a smile to my face. My bestie never fails to lift my spirits when I'm feeling low.

* 30 minutes later *

Cassidy came in my house only a few minutes after she sent me the text, since she got here we been eating Chinese food as she promised while cutting him out of pictures that we have.

" Bitch I don't even know why you fucked with his cube head having ass. His head looks like those old square tv's my grandma have at her house." I burst out laughing as I cut out the picture of him " You know my first time with him wasn't even all that, when we came back from dinner and were chilling he tried to kiss me but I could just smell the garlic and onions on his breath and it just knocked me out......Like how can you not know your breath stank?"

Cassidy tries to stop herself from laughing but fails as she starts rolling around on the floor " Boy had that untameable dragons breath. How the hell did you end up Fucking then? If it was me I would of been like.... boy the door! " she says like her favourite youtuber iamzo, we continue laughing until our sides hurt.

" I just kinda held my breath when he start panting in me face, I concentrated on the fact I was gonna cup real soon. That was my only motivation " I wipe the small tear falling from the corner of my eye. " Its okay Prince breath be kickin when he try talk to as soon as he wake up from a nap. That's why now there's always extra minty gum or mints in the top draw by the bed "

I shake my head at her " Damn you are raw, you have no filter. I almost feel sorry for him"

All the pictures were cut up only leaving me in the pictures or me Cassidy and Prince . Throwing all the picture of him in the trash can as well as all the t-shirts and sweatshirts, she pours gasoline on the clothes and I set it on fire after taking it outside in the garden. Don't want to burn the house down.

" Fuck you ya stank breath, ping pong balls havin' ,can't eat pussy for shit ass nigga. I hope she gave you something you can't get rid of. I say finally getting all my feelings off my chest as I stare into the blazing fire,

Out of no where, Cassidy starts clapping excitedly " Yaasss that's my girl, you tell him. He ain't shit. He ain't shit " she begins chanting and I eventually join in with her. Surprisingly, this all , made me feel better. I don't know if I'll start dating any time soon but I'm not hurting no more.

* A few days later*

Since my little recovery with Cassidy I've been talking to Isaiah again, as I said I don't want to date I just want to....to rebound.

It's Thursday afternoon, early afternoon to be exact. The sun is showing no mercy today to no one, the weather got me in a white mesh crop top, white thin material shorts and tan sandals. My dark hair is up in some kind of a messy bun. I don't know it's hot and I don't care at this point so long it's up and out the way.

To cool off a bit me and Isaiah have been at this nice little juice bar that is Hawaiian themed. They serve the juice in real coconut shells with a neon coloured straw with a pretty cocktail umbrella to go with it. " This place is so good. I wish I could stay all day the fans and the drink are really cooling me down. " he turns to me sipping from his bright yellow strap " I'm glad you like it I've only been here with family but I brought you here because you're special to me. " I try not to melt in my chair from his sweet words.

" That means a lot to me more than you know. " I give him a smile causing him to break one out to; show casing his pearly white teeth. He's got that billion dollar smile. It's kinda cute the way his dimple subtly sinks into his cheek but only the right side, the left is nothing but smooth caramel skin....

Whoa....I'm paying a little toomkuch attention to him.

The rest of our lunch break we just got to know each other better so there were less awkward silences and more comfortable ones, Isaiah is a real great guy he does voluntary work at the little animal shelter on weekends, he cooks dinner for his family on a regular basis as well as having a great family relationship.

Even though with all this is still feel like there's a piece missing about him but I can't figure it out....

" Thanks for today Isaiah you didn't have to take me out, I really enjoyed our little date or whatever you want to call it" I flash him a small smile as I gather my things ready to exit his car " No problem, anytime beautiful " I put my bag on my shoulder and get out walking to my next lesson
