getting to know you

"victoria hurry come here ! " i screamed at my very slow best friend.

" what ? " she asked plopping down beside me

i nudged her and motioned her to look at my lap top screen

" oh my god oh my god is this really happening ? "

" yes !! im about to answer it " i said reaching to press the answer botton that would change everything

" im about to cry " victoria screamed scooting closer to me as the connecting sign came into veiw .

" is this madison and victoria? " nev's face popped up on my mac laptop screen

" oh my god " victoric shreiked covering her mouth with her hand

i rolled my eyes and pushed her away playfully .

" im madison " i giggled and looked at victoria her eyes were wide in shock looking at my laptop in disbelief " im victoria hi hello "

nev and max laughed on the other side

" so we read your email and we were actually very inteerested " nev said after a few seconds

" wait seriously ? i though you wernt gunna even respond since you guys dont do these type of things " i spoke

" well when you spend two seasons making more heart breaks then actual love conections you actually want to see some sort of happieness " max said with a snort and nev gives a  slight nod in agreement 

" but we're not looking for a love connection " victoria blurted

god my best friend is so stupid, makes me wonder how i manage her weirdness

max chuckled " is she always like this " he asked jokingly

i nodded

"its not a love-love, more like a friend love. nothing to... lovey-dovey" nev said

victorias eyes widened and her face turned a light shade of pink

"oh, makes more since"

" so that means you guys are going to help us ? " i asked getting back on topic

" no "

i froze " oh "

i heard victoria scoff before she pushed me " well obviously their going to help us if they wernt then they woudnt have video chatted " she spoke in a duh tone rolling her eyes

nev clapped " for once your friends right " he said smirking

i laughed and vic rolled her eyes " shut up and tell us the plan "

" well all of them know eachother right ? " max asked getting back on topic

i nodded

" well we can rent a rv drive to each state pick them up and bring them to meet the others "

that was a good idea but it would probubly take us a long time like 40 days

" oooo then when we get everyone we could go to coachella because thats in the middle of next month it would work out really good pluss we have time to actually hang out with them with out being in the rv 24/7 "

" yay ive always wanted to go to cochella " max cheered

" before we let you go we need to know their names , where they live and any of their social media and anything else you have so we can find their adress " nev spoke

i nodded " ill email it to you right now "

saying one last good bye we ended the call

" bro is this seriously happening right now " victoria asked

" bro i really think it is " i responded mimicking her

i clicked on the little envelpoe on my mac book opening up my inbox

my eyes widened as i see its a email from nev

just like i said after we ended the video call i quickly gave nev all of the information i had

the message read : I've got some good news pack your bags were headed your way soon !!

clicking the red x on the top right corner closing out my email i quickly replaced the tab with FaceTime beginning to call victoria

" vic !! " i screamed as i saw her face pop up on my laptop

" whaaat " she groaned rubbing her eyes

my best friend is a lazy pig i swear

i rolled my eyes " nev emailed back - "

i saw her ears perk up as she sat up against her head board with wide eyes as I continued " their coming to texas soon " i smiled

and of couse as my bestfriend always did when she got exited she screamed , like someone was raping her 

i immediately pressed the mute button on my mac book blocking out her loud obnoxious screams .

dont get me wrong , i am totally exited . ive been waiting what feels like years to meet my dysfunctional family but i still cant believe its happening .

i unmuted victoria when i saw that she was done with screaming .

" ive got an idea , what if we dont talk to them , any of them until we meet so they think that were mad at them and itll be more surprising . " she suggested 

i nodded at the idea 

after talking for hours on FaceTime with victoria i ended the call and slowly drifting of into a peacefull sleep waiting for the journey ahead
