Neil ran towards the door, someone was knocking so hard he was sure the poor door will fall apart soon. To his surprise, Mona stood in front of him, her tears rolling down her face generously as she struggled to speak.

"Y-You... I... I need to t-tell you ab-about my sister..." Mona heaved violently before she started coughing.

"Come on Mona, get in and let my mother fix you something to drink then you can tell me what's wrong." Neil offered to the terrified girl.

After ten minutes, Mona was finally able to utter a full sentence without either being stopped by coughing or crying.

"You have to help my sister run away from that cruel king."

"What are you talking about Mona? You want ME to help Gauri run away?" it wasn't that he didn't want to, it was just impossible.

Neil fell in love with Gauri the second he saw her walking into his bakery; he even risked his freedom proposing for Gauri to the king himself. He recalled how Omkara looked at him, arching one eyebrow while he stated his request. Oh how angry he was when the king, with a smirk on his face, called his soldiers to walk Neil out of the castle and to never allow him inside ever again. He didn't even waste his breath in answering Neil.

Neil noticed that the king was mad at him, and he reasoned that probably he didn't find his offer satisfying. He later came to know that the king was favoring Gauri and keeping her as his own.

Neil cried when he knew that, he was aware that Gauri was forced to stay against her will with the king, even though she was only presented as a service maid, he wanted her and he had and still have her and that made Neil's heart ache. Gauri was supposed to be his wife and share his bed, not the king's as his favorite concubine.

Pulling himself out of his tormenting and agonizing thoughts, Neil focused on the girl in front of him.

"What do you want me to do, Mona?" he asked in a deep voice.

"I want you to get her out of there; you have no idea what she's going through."

'It's hard not to have an idea what an asshole like king Omkara is doing to a beautiful girl like Gauri', thought him. He is a man after all, just like him and Neil would be a liar if he didn't admit how attracted to Gauri he was the first time he saw her. When she stood in front of him, he started imagining what it would be like to make love to such a woman, and when she said hello with that soft voice of hers when she came to buy some flour, he wondered how it would be to hear her voice moaning his name.

"What do you say Neil? She is your fiancée despite everything that happened. You can't just abandon her."

Mona knew that Neil did everything he could, but somehow, to her that wasn't enough. She wanted him to fight for her sister, to be her sister's knight in shining armor that's going to save Gauri from the cruel and wicked king. Just the thought of the king having sex with Gauri with her in the same room made her shudder.

"I'm not abandoning her, Mona. It's just very hard to get into the castle unnoticed! How am I supposed to get your sister out of the castle? It's just I need to think about this." Neil was very much aware to the fact that if he was to be caught while trying to sneak into the castle he would be killed. Hearing the fact that the king keeps Gauri as his own meant that he took a liking of her, meaning if Neil gets caught, the king will make sure he receives a very painful death.

"I can help you. I have it all planned on my way here." Mona suggested.

"And how exactly you're planning the escape?"
