Pretty?

I was wiping the tables, when I felt a ring go off. It was Jungkook, there was no second guessing that.

I had been talking to him the whole day and yesterday, asking even more questions about each other and getting to know one another.

We went back and forth on some topics too, there were really good conversations kept in here.

I went back to the cashier, where my phone was kept hidden. It went off again, I was just about to start typing when I heard a cough come from the other side.

Just then a figure, who was tall and had the same color hair as his lips, was standing on the other side of me. He had his hoodie on but it only went through halfway of covering his hair. A black face mask was hanging from his right ear.

He was wearing circular glasses on the tip of his nose, with a black, plain sweatshirt and ripped jeans. White shoes finished his look.

My first instinct was to say,

"Hello and welcome! How may I help you?"

He then turned towards the menu, his face revealed who he was.

I covered my mouth with wide eyes and backed up a couple of steps.

"Jungkook" you whisper, dazed that he was standing right in front of me.

What was he doing here? It's 9pm and he wants coffee?

"Haha, that's me. I ask not to say my name out loud though. You must be a fan?"

How did he not notice me? Do I look different?

I kept asking myself multiple questions when I realized that I am not the person he saw on that date. So he most likely thinks of me as another fangirl.

"Ahh, yes. What an honor meeting you, your music is great!"

I reply, slowly removing my hands from my mouth and my face muscles turning back to its normal expression.

"Thank you!"

He said politely, showing his little bunny smile I only saw over the internet. His smile kept me warm, but it might be because of his manly presence.

"What would you like today?"

He looks up, deciding in his head if he wants one or another. He looks adorable just even doing that.

"One ice macchiato would be nice."

"What size?"

"Oh, grande should be fine."

I nod as he gives me his credit card to pay the drink for.

"Please take a seat, I will deliver it to you when it is ready."

He nodded, and followed my instructions. He immediately went on his phone.

You checked your phone to read his messages.
-
Jungkook:
Wish you could be here at this beautiful cafe I found. We could've talked about all of this in person 😕
-
I wasn't going to text back, or else it would be too obvious. I silenced my phone this time, and went to grab his coffee that was made while I was checking the text.

I brought it to him, and made a slight bow with his order.

"Thank you." he said, as he eyed his drink.

He took a sip, and sat down his phone. But his eyes stayed on the device, not wanting to move.

Crap. He's waiting for my reply.

I shyly turn around, and grab my phone out.
-
Me:
And how beautiful is the place? Are the workers there beautiful too?
-
I couldn't help but ask a question like that. I wanted to see if I was beautiful, in his eyes. I know, a foolish move. I'm going to be praising whatever he says anyways.
-
Jungkook:
The place is leaving me speechless of how beautiful it is. I have to admit, the cashier girl is also pretty. But I have my eyes on someone else.
-
I saw his eyes fall upon me, but I quickly try and look busy. My phone then popped with yet another text message notice.

I read it in my head, and giggle to myself.
-
Me:
The cashier girl is going to be a second option then? Haha.
-
He looked up from his phone, as I dropped my phone. I went over to start cleaning tables.

I was only doing this to distract that I am here, to distract myself. I felt his eyes following me with curiosity and fell intrigued. I went back to my spot when I saw him on the phone again.
-
Jungkook:
I will consider it.
-

I quietly giggled to myself again. I look up to see him leaving.

I call back out, "Good night! Come back again!"

No, I don't want him back. It was just a habit I got used to say. But a little part of me is asking if he will come back, like it matters.
