"Mina," I silently ask, but there really wasn't a good explanation for the usage of that tone.

"Yes?"

"Friday, you didn't forget right?"

"Ah, right. That's tommorow?"

I nodded, "Do you need to know anything for the date?" I asked.

"Here, just let me read the messages."

I'm not going to lie, giving her my phone so she could read all the text messages with Jungkook felt like I had eyes on my back.

Judgement crawled through my skin and I was scared for myself.

As she scrolled, I simply couldn't help but watch her reactions matched with her expressions.

She didn't have any masks on, but kept a very plain looking face throughout reading them.

After she was done, she handed me back the phone and asked me what time the date was set.

"4pm, was what he said. I have work that day."

"Okay, I'll try and add him."

I placed my phone on my desk, plugging in the charger.

As soon as I was getting back to finishing my studies, I received a notification.

I read it loud in my head, hesitant of what was going to be said. It was from Katie, one of the supervisors at the cafe.

Katie:
Hey everyone, all of those on the first ship tomorrow are still on. Second ship, you guys are off for tomorrow. Some young gentleman by the name of Jungkook has rented out the place from 4pm to 5:30pm. I need all of those on that shift to behave, and proceed as usual. He is someone popular, and does not want paparazzi finding out. Do your best job. Thank you.

Wow. This guy is so extra. Truly.

"Hey Mina, looks like he's taking you to the cafe."

I called, as she responded with a half smile.

"Great, then you can do that earpiece thing I talked about?"

"Oh yea, forgot about that. I guess so, since no one can stop me."

She smiled fully this time, giving a genuine happy face.

I looked over at the clock, it was now 11pm on a Thursday night. I decided to treat myself from all of this stress.

I dropped my studies, and yelled out while walking towards the door,

"I'm heading out to the place, come if you want."

I felt a nod left behind me, and continued to walk outside. Once I was at the hallway, I took the elevator to the highest level.

Once there, I went through the lonely refrigerator, used to cover our hideout. It was always here, and never has it moved.

I went to our secret spot, where soju and beer were on sight. A nice table in the middle and the beautiful night view were all there to provide you with a feeling.

I grabbed a can of beer, and sat down. I looked at the beautiful view, and got lost in my own world.

I closed my eyes, wishing I could pause this moment forever, the breeze was caught up in my hair and the city noises were comfort to my ears.

The colors that each building flashed upon gave glee to my eyes, and I ultimately felt like I was apart of this beautiful nonsense.

I felt a cold air brush my shoulder, and turn to see it was Mina.

"You look like you're enjoying yourself,"

She remarks, placing a wet can of beer in her hand while her body leaned forward to sit down.

"It is. Thank the heavens I still have this place."

She sighed, as my breath followed hers. Silence grew between us, but the atmosphere was not quiet at all.

"You know," she begins, making my head turns toward her figure.

"I know you think I'm shallow. And I don't blame you. Hell, I'm a girl with money. I go out all the time, who wouldn't think shallow of me?"

I nodded, not having the knowledge of replying back.

"But, I really am not. I've gone through shit, like hardcore shit. And I really, genuinely want to get to know you."

I wanted to act surprised, but this thought has already occurred.

"I don't think of you in that way. But you know,"

I turn my head as her eyes kept still on my eyes.

"There are times when I don't think you are truly the persona you carry in the outside world,"

"You're just one lost girl like me."

She couldn't make up with words.

"How, how-w-would you know?"

I say coldly, "because you always call me when you're lost on the highway."

I say, as we both begin to laugh. We weren't just laughing, but we were curing our hearts, a bond was brewing, and stress was coming out as relieve filled us within.

"You're funny."

She says, as she sits back and takes a nice, long sip.

"Thank you, now cheers. Cheers to starting something new?"

I offered. She looked at my eyes, and studied me with memories of me, and then clicked our cans together.

"Cheers."

She says, as the pain subsides and calmness takes over.

The "hideout" was inspired from the k-drama, Fight My Way. I love that show 💜

Picture above of what it looks like :)
