"Knock it off, no, Andy you are only part because of your mother" Ted told me as he had a soft look in his eyes. "My wife and a few others came down to see your delivery than an average hospital, making sure"

I was about to laugh, stating to myself this wasn't real but those eyes of sympathy and guilt said it all too well. I wanted to ask questions on why they didn't say and is it why they have died? Was the accident staged? Would I eventually grow into something strange? I wanted to ask questions but I wanted to also just take it in.

"Your cousin, my son, George will be staying with you as a roommate for the time you are here" he said pointing to the thing on the couch "Ask him anything while you are with us he will be like your big brother"

"But, he is too ugly" George complained, "Hell no do I want to be compared to him, especially as my brother"

"I wouldn't want to be anyway, don't want to catch your low esteem girly" I tell him.

"Oh well you look like..."

"Now see already acting like brothers, now George go and help him unpack" Ted told us as he pointed to the hallway. We both walked past Ted and went down the hallway both smacking each other on the way down the hall. I was so uncomfortable around him, we walked in the room and he jumped in his bed with chips wrappers crumpling and some popcorn flying off it, and with a flash he was that green thing I walked in on. I went to my suitcase and he pointed out my side of the closet and we made no other sound, I would say that the silence would have been broken by even a rat screak but he probably would've ate it. Which he did have one under another little carcass I am scared to ask what it was, but he grabbed the rat, sat comfortably with his back against the wall waited till I looked and snapped its neck He skinned it with the end of his tail and flicked it at me, splats of blood hit my face.

"Is that really what you call as a snack?" I ask him,

"Sorry this isn't a four star restaurant," He said sarcastically and leaned over his bed and tossed a shirt that was on the floor to me "here's your bib my good sir, May I offer you some rat stomach?" He started laughing and I just threw up in my mouth, holding his shirt to clean my face of rat blood.

"Why should I leave with a slob like you anyway?" I ask under my breath.

"I am not a slob"

"Want to bet? Look around you" I say.

"Oh you are so dead", he jumps up and Ted walks in saying dinner is ready. I went to the table saw burnt eggs, cereal, chips, and then I saw rat stew, brain pizza and candy. Well note to self I have to make my own dinner now because he only cooked for his species. I asked could I be excused, and he agreed as I walked around the sewers, trying not to be disgusted. I then saw a normal door with bitten ends, that I just wanted to push open, so I looked around then did closing the door behind me, and I switched on the light that was hanging on the ceiling I saw pins and papers on the walls with yarn around it and pictures with blueprints on journal pages all torn out and on the floor. There was one chair and another island with a picture frame faced down. I saw a picture of two guys by a plane messing with flying papers on a table catching every one as guns were by the end of it.

One looked like my dad quite a bit and the other was for sure someone much younger but had to be my uncle. So, I picked the frame up and walked back out the room making sure I closed the door and switched off the lights.

"What is this?" I ask holding the frame up, I must of caught him of guard because he was slurping up some kind of noodle as it was still out of his mouth dripping all over the table, when his mouth was open.

"After dinner" He states and starts getting another forkful. I give up and give a sigh and look over to George as he tries to eat the goo of the plate, and then gives me a glare.

"Don't look at me"

"I wouldn't want to look at a slob anyway, I feel nauseous just getting a glance" I tell him and I go sit on the couch waiting for them.

"What you say?" He asked about to get up but Ted stopped him by tapping on his shoulder, so George sat correctly and finished his food. I see the whole scene and just smirk in happiness, then look at the photo.

What is this about? Was this about some big war? Was it just my dad or was my mom involved? Ted sat down in front of me and I quickly put the frame on his lap. He just picked it up and looked at the frame for a bit too long if I say, then smiled and sighed by gave the frame back to me. I took the picture frame and saw his have his head down and his elbows on his knees. Was this an important memory? Or did he just not see my dad for a while? I wanted to speak but I guess all the memories came to mind. I waited until he was ready to talk, George saw the tension and patted my uncles shoulder and sat on another chair by him. So this happens a lot? Should I have not let him relive it? So many questions but not time to ask, because Ted was ready to speak as he gave me a smile as he looked up and said "that's your dad and me."

"On our planet, there was a war going on and your dad and I being scientists did not want to be involved but we were, and it was so hard training with a gun you should've seen your dad's face as he tried to hold one, ha ha ha. But we tried our best to protect the experiment we had, and trapped the main guy in a cage and a grate with other locks, as for the men with him they were killed. Not by me and your father but by the forces that surrounded us this experiment must not be found and used, yet some men escaped and tried to get the keys your dad had, because even if he is in the prison, the keys were still with us, no one could take it off any other way. Your dad created those type of locks, and I was proud that they had worked, I protected the experiment as your dad saw that he was put away."

"So where is the keys?" I ask.

"Was still with your dad, but we decided to come to earth, and we tried to explain to the government and offered to sign up for help in any way possible, so we went to train and I found your aunt that way, man she was a tough solider, fighting with her in training she put me on my butt in seconds. Ha ha ha"

I look at George and I see he smiled as my uncle laughed at memories. "We traveled around the world with the army and we went on leave in this town and your dad was so busy being in his human form that he left this house to live with one, but he would come every now and then but once he had you, I told him that was enough and he had to live with his family as I went with mine" Ted told me as he got up and looked at the picture on the desk in the corner and sighed once again.

"But your father came running in and he said that the people have come to get the keys as he escaped and came to this world, I gave him one as he asked but the accident happened and they were taken and so I made sure it looked as though we were never here, and took care of your house and school. Sorry Andy but it was the best otherwise they would go for you"

After he finished talking I got up and walked out to get a breather but I stayed standing by him as I wanted to talk to him.

"Is he gonna faint again or what? Just look at his face." George said out loud.

"No, I'm... f-fine, I heard it all out I just need a walk" I said.

"Are you sure my boy?" Ted asked looking up at me.

"Yeah, just will be right back" I told him and walked out of the sewers and texted Sally. I was fine when I talked to my heart and soul she was the one who knew me and understood me. Then I heard footsteps behind me.

"Who you talking to one on your phone?" George said as he found me.

"My girl, stupid" I sarcastically replied.

"Angry I get it, but with the information you know I just... wait! You have a girlfriend?" George babbled on. I looked at him and he gave a look saying 'does she know' and I shook my head.

"If that's all you want to know leave me alone." I said and Ted showed up to get us both.

"Okay, you too let's go and get some rest, as I will go get information"

"Where you going?" George asked him.

"Uncle Adam"

"Oh..." that was George's last words to him and we walked to your room down the hall.

"Night you too!" Ted shouted down the hall.

"Night, freak" I said to George's direction. He had a small laugh and said 'you too.'
