I was then woken up by some noises in my room, but I tried my best to ignore them and I felt by me so to get comfy with Charlie again. Not that I want to, but she was a great person to be around. She was gone so I open my eyes slightly and see Uncle Ted and George on his bed, I then lifted myself in a sitting position to be woken up by the sweet smell of breakfast, normal human breakfast. I look at the hallway then at Uncle Ted and George, they had a confused look on their face.
"What's up?"
"We were gonna ask you that" George said.
"Nothing, what gives" I ask again
"Charlie" Uncle Ted said.
"Yes?" I ask
"What happen?" Ted said again.
"Nothing, okay" I say and walk through the hallway to the kitchen and see her. Charlie was making pancakes, real pancakes using one of her tentacles to brush down the others as she uses her hands to flip them on the pan. This woman was great, I walk up to say hi to her and I see the table has toast and bacon on it, what the heck? It did not have this then and I see a place setting with just one plate, she would be great to me and I smiled thinking that, then my phone buzzed in my pocket. It was Sally, she wanted to talk, great.
"Hey"
"Hi, love, what's with the sad mood?" She asked.
"I woke up, that's why" I tell her.
"Okay, geez, just wanted to talk about everything since school"
"My uncle is crookie and this side of the family is really needs to get used too"
"But how do you feel?"
"My parents died and I had to sale the house to live this new strange life, how do you think I feel?" I say sarcastically.
"Okay, I was just asking, I have class so I got to go, can you call me later when you chill" She says.
"Yeah, sure" I tell her but then anger leaves once I see Charlie walk out looking for me.
"Bye, sweetie Love you"
"Bye"
I hung up and I look at Charlie and smile she has the spatula in her hand and asks me to come eat, then I remember what I said to Sally, yeah this strange life is getting used to but its my life and I would of never seen it coming but I defiantly want to say in it to see the future. I am not normal and I can't even try but I have a green family and I am the only human involved I may not be worthy or fit in but they are the family I got. I walk inside and sat down as Charlie serves me tha pancakes and the bacon, she made me felt at home and then Uncle Ted walks in and snatches a bacon and Charlie slaps him with the spatula and I smile and try to enjoy my breakfast here and it felt great then George jumps in.
"Charlie!"
"Yea," she says as she soaks some dishes.
"They moved the mission to this Sunday"
"Cool cause I was already packed on Thursday night"
"It's Friday and I am screwed" He says and he runs to the hallway hitting his head on the corner.
"Mission?" I ask and Uncle Ted looks at me.
"kind of like a school trip, it's the kids get a way, maybe you should join them?"
"Yeah, that's a great idea, Mr. Harris" Charlie speaks up, "Please consider on coming Andy"
She says that with sweetness in her eyes, and I just can't say no to her.
"Sure,what's the harm?"
