FORWARDED 2 WEEKS:-

I still couldn't believe that I made it to Essex. The village was quiet and lovely, full of wonderful people and nature. The landscapes were breathtaking and amusing to look at. The money that Sam has given me helped me a lot with renting a small house and finding myself a good car to rent. With the help of my aunt, I came to the United Kingdom and got all my papers done peacefully. I found a job at a new company that has opened in London. It took me 40 minutes to reach there by train, and 10 minutes walking. Leaving home at 5:55 A.M and coming back at 7 P.M. was really exhausting. But that's all I could do at that time. I used to go cycling early in the morning with the sunrise ahead of my eyes. The wonderful view eventually took of all of the negativity that I had in my mind. I missed Anderson a lot, but I couldn't see myself calling him father anymore. He broke my heart for a very long time without even daring and facing me after Marcello's confession. Marcello too broke me to pieces with the hidden memory he had from me. Sam, however, is sentenced to 7 years of jail. It wasn't easy for me to accept that, but I stayed in touch with his secretary until I knew everything about his case, I threw my old SIM card and got myself a new number. I noticed that being away from all of those hurtful memories was the only medicine that succeeded my cure. In my holidays I used to go explore more in the countryside of UK. I loved the city too, but I loved the peace I was growing with.

Becoming 30 years old was the 5th birthday for me in the United Kingdom alone. The first one was a really tough birthday, but then I decided to travel and celebrate my birthday in different countries. I went to Mexico, Colombia, Dubai, and went to India for this birthday. Visiting the statue of Queen Victoria was one of the most astonishing things I believe I made there. The weather was always perfect as my birthday was on 28th of October. The only problem I believe I had was becoming older. Each year I thought about why I didn't celebrate my birthday before coming to the United Kingdom. I guess it is because I never felt like I am living my own life, I was only someone who existed in this big world. However, every time I came back home from a flight, I thought of how life has dealt with Sam, Marcello and Anderson. Making friends around the world wasn't a hard task to do at all. I had hundreds of people all different from each other. My best friend, Rosa, lived with me in Essex. Although she was married and had two kids, she still made a lot of time for our friendship. She was the only one I told her about my past, along with Alexander, a close friend of mine at work. Both of us shared the same passion and dream; living instead of existing. My friendship with Alexander was different from Rosa's. Alexander, Thomas, and I were best friends, but Thomas didn't know all the details about my past. We all worked in the same company but different departments. The only times we used to go out was on the last day of work, as Thomas and Alexander lived in Oxford which was really far from Essex. I became a public drinker but didn't really love the idea of drinking. On one day I was going out with Karl and Klara, Rosa's kids. We were going grocery shopping preparing a birthday party for their mother. As we went back home after a sunny day, Rosa asked me to stay with her kids as she was going to spend the night out with her husband in a hotel. That was a great chance for me to decorate the house with her daughters.

"So here we are kids, let's start with the balloons" I called for Karl and Klara as we entered the dining room. Klara was 4 years while Karl was 3 years only. Both of them started spitting all over the balloons as they couldn't know how to do anything. While I was decorating the whole time, I got a phone call from Alexander. "Hello there," I said. No one replied, so I had to ask again "Hello?" I closed the phone as no one replied. Out of a sudden, the bell rang. It was weird because Rosa didn't tell me that she was coming early. I went and opened the door with Karl and Klara following me. "Hey there," Alexander said. "Alex!" I hugged him as soon as I saw him. "Woah" he replied as he saw both the kids hugging him with me. "It is fine they do that a lot" I laughed as he entered with me. "So I can say you hug a lot of people on your door" he mocked as he followed me to the dining room. "Ha-ha, too funny mister funny mister" I joked back. "I didn't say anything" he shrugged. "So what are you doing here," I said as I started arranging the balloons. "Well I knew you were here so, I came" he sat and started playing with the kids.
"Are you being for real?" I rolled my eyes.

"If I wasn't then what am I doing here?" he giggled.

"Tell me now, how and when and why" I sat in front of him.

"Well I called her, today, to meet you, easy" He smoothly said with a smile covering his face.

"Hmm—so Rosa is setting something—no, no, and nope! That's not working" I stood up. "Kids lets go to bed" I took Klara and Karl from Alexander.

"Yes because we need to go to bed too" he laughed as I punched him in his tummy.

"Stop being silly" I yelled in laughter.

"What I only said that we need to sleep too" he followed me on the stairs.

"No it's not we need to sleep. It is w-e need to sleep"

"That's the same thing I guess," Klara said.

"I know right!" Alexander followed.

"I know what you are doing here" I teased him. "Stop," I asked.

"Okay okay I am going to stop after we are done with some--" he was saying but I interrupted. "Hello!?" I yelled focusing my eyes on the kids. "You can leave now as we are going to sleep" I continued as I tried closing the door.

"Hmmm, I think not. Monsters come to us at night, but it is only the hero that kills them" he giggled as he jumped on the bed playing with the kids. I rolled my eyes as he said that, but it was really fun to see Alexander and my two favorite kids close that much.

"I am my own hero, this is what life taught me" I smiled feeling a tear dropping from my eyes.

Alexander understood what I was going to fall into. "No, no, you aren't falling for that again, you promised me right?" he stood up and placed his hand on my chin, pulling my head up to him. "Yes true" I looked at how the kids were staring at us until I felt him over my lips. It was weird and lovely, too. It felt like this whole thing that I used to fall for was just escaping my body through his. And as it became more intense, letting him get more into me, feeling me, and feeling him, I opened my eyes and saw the kids watching us in silence. Immediately, I pushed him away looking at his hunger for more while he was teasing my thirst for him. "The kids are here" I whispered as I giggled, yet he couldn't stop getting closer. "Stop" I repeated softly in his ears. "Okay," he sighed looking back at the kids. "So you like ruining good moments ha!" he ran into them and knocked them to bed.
