Just when Kotaro was finally having his way with Odd, his eyes blinked red repeatedly. "Something's up." He said before the blinking stopped. The two threw on their clothes and headed over to join the rest of the group. That was, until Sissy inturrepted. Again. Sissy got in Ulrich's way when they were just about to head to the factory. "Just WHAT is going on here?!" She asked as she put her hands to her hips demandingly. She didn't intend to move a inch and there was no other way out except for past her.
"Well.. uh.." Ulrich scratched the back of his head, at a loss for words. Damn. Why couldn't there be another entrance? That would be great right now. "Well?! I'm listening!" "Let me handle this." Kotaro suggested from behind Sissy in a cold, ruthless tone. "Y-You're not going to hurt me, are you?" She asked as he took a step closer. "As much as I'd love to, hurting the innocent isn't in my program. Oh, but wait." He lifted her chin up with a finger, leaning in. "Don't tell me you're into that stuff, are you~?" He asked with a mischevious grin. "No- I'd never-" The flustered girl got cut off by Kotaro picking her up, throwing her over his shoulders. "Hey! Put me down!" Sissy demanded. "You guys go ahead, I'll catch up with you later." He said before leaving.
The rejoined group, minus Kotaro headed down to the factory. But Odd was feeling some type of way. He bit his bottom lip as images of Sissy and Kotaro flashed through his mind. He clenched his fists to his sides as he continued to think about it. Was Kotaro JUST a robot after all? Was he PROGRAMMED to be like this? Was he just a flirt? Did he really not have any feelings for Odd? Odd's mind was constantly being attacked by a barrage of questions concerning his love.
"I've never seen you like this before. Is someone jealous?" Ulrich teased. Yumi put a hand to Odd's shoulder. "Don't worry, Odd. Ulrich had to do much worse for the sake of the world, remember? So you're not the only one suffering from this. Besides, he's a bit of a prankster, isn't he? I don't think he'll ever give Sissy what she wants." Yumi assured him. "Yeah. Remember when he told us about when Sissy was expecting a kiss but received a kiss from Herb instead? There's nothing to worry about!" Ulrich added. With Odd's friend's help, he was now completely focused on the mission. 90% at least.
"So whose going to take the computer? We all know Einstien would never trust me going anywhere near it! Any other volunteers?" Odd asked, folding his arms behind his head. "Me." A voice said, coming from the elevator as it revealed Kotaro's presence. "Just in time! Jeremy would kill us if we messed up so we didn't really want to do this." Yumi said, rushing to the elevator with Ulrich as Kotaro stepped out. "By the way, what happened to Sissy?" Ulrich asked. "I locked her up." Kotaro said as his fingers detatched and robotic wires found their way into the computer system as he sat on the computer chair. Numbers were now flowing in Kotaro's eyes. Ulrich winked at Odd before the two went to the scanner room. "Um.. Kotaro?" Odd asked, wanting to apologize to him. He felt guilty for not trusting in him more. He knew Kotaro wasn't programmed to lie to his friends and no matter how much he denied being friends with the group, it was as clear as day that they were all friends.
When there was no response coming from the bot, it made it clear to him that now was not the time when Aelitha and Jeremy were in danger but it didn't seem Kotaro was councious in the real world right now anyways. Odd headed to the scanners and the 3 lyoko warriors got virtuialized.
Meanwhile... "Jeremy, are you here?" Aelitha asked as she frantically looked around. No matter where she looked, all she could see was white. It was as if she was trapped in a void of utter nothingness. "Yeah, I'm here." came Jeremy's reply as she ran to catch up with her, panting as he put his hands to his knees in an attempt to hold himself up. He was never a gymnastic person. Never will be. So his stamina in running was terribly low. He eventually took hold of her hand before taking in his surroundings. He didn't want to lose her. And she felt the exact same way.
"Where... are we..?" Aelitha asked as she backed up into a tree as color eveloped the once white, bald, boring world and turned into a sceneary of the forest. "I'm not sure but all I know is that we've fallen for Xana's trap. I should've listened to Kotaro." He put his hand to his temples. "It's not your fault. We all fell for it." Aelitha assured him.
"Miss? Mr? Who are you people? And why do you look like me?" A small pinkette asked before a small lyoko monster lunged itself towards her. Of course, Jeremy wasn't going to let that happen. He scooped the puzzled small girl in his arms, taking Aelitha's hand as they tried to run. This was all so puzzling but first thing was first. Protect them. Once the small monster was out of sight, Jeremy handed the 4 year old over to Aelitha for her to carry. "Stay safe, and hide. I'll distract the monsters." "But Jeremy! You've barely fought before! And you could possibly die too!"
Jeremy ignored her pleas. If it meant his love of his life would continue living in exchange for his life, then he would gladly do it anyday. Aelitha watched Jeremy struggle fighting against the monster. He was doing his best. She couldn't help but shut her eyes. But no, she couldn't just cower in fear. She had to help him! She put the toddler down, getting on her knees in an attempt to sing but her powers didn't work here. Soon enough, she realized she WAS doing something important. She was protecting the mini Aelitha. So she continued to hide, holding the little her as if she was a mother.
"Jeremy! Aelitha! Can you hear us?! Ulrich's voice echoed throughout the illusionary world. "You're here! But where are our physical bodies exactly?" Jeremy questioned. "You're both trapped in a bubble on Lyoko. But no matter what we try, we can't seem to break the barrier!" Yumi explained. "Wait a minute.. if you two are here, don't tell me Odd-" "Chillax, Einstein. Kotaro is operating the computer. But you should really trust me more. You could hurt my feelings." Odd joked. Jeremy sighed of relief, trying his best to multi task between communication and fending himself from that monster. Thank the lords there was only one. But many Xana thought one was all it takes to take him down.
"What's the situation down there?" Ulrich asked. "I'm protecting a mini me and Jeremy is trying his best to get a monster away from her." Aelitha said once she was far away from the scene to be able to speak. "A trip to the past, I presume? Not like our trips, of course." Ulrich said. "Hey, Einstein! I have a grand idea! Break the crystal at the same time we strike!" "An idea from you? Well, I guess it's worth a shot." Jeremy said.
"1.. 2.. 3!" Aelitha smashed the crystal at the same time the 3 lyoko warriors striked the barrier. A light eveloped them and they were returned to the past. Their way of returning to the past, of course. "Odd, you're a genius!" Jeremy announced, hugging him. "Mmhmm. Does it mean you'll trust me more now?" "You're still not to go anywhere near my computer." "Okay, okay already!"
Odd looked over at Kotaro as the friends hugged each other, happy that Jeremy and Aelitha weren't lost in time. Kotaro was sitting on the bed, rubbing his head, seeming to be exhausted. "I'm going to go recharge." He said, getting up to leave the room. "Kotaro, wait." Odd said, grabbing hold of his hand. But Kotaro seemed to know exactly what he was thinking. "Don't worry, my little kitten, I would be jealous too if I saw you with someone else." He said, bringing Odd's hand to his lips. "Well, see you later." He winked before taking his leave.
(D-don't leave! I'm working on the next part right now!)
