Odd sneakily tip toed around Kotaro's room along with the rest of the group. "You should know as much as I do that this is an insanely bad idea." Ulrich said. "Oh, come on. Lighten up a bit! If Mel and Tomiya are able to get away with it then I'm sure we can too! Besides, we're his buddies." Odd said, relaxed as he walked into sight instead of sneaking around like a little mouse. "See? I'm in sight and I'm clearly not dead yet." Odd said happily as he rested his hand against the container of liquid where the bot would usually be charging. But he wasn't anywhere in sight.

"Hmm.. that's odd. Where's Kotaro? He should be charging right in there since that's logically the quickest solution since the liquid speeds up the healing process." Jeremy said with his laptop open, seeming to type something up. Aelitha giggled. "You really seem into this, Jeremy." Aelitha said. "It's about time someone other than me was interested!" Odd exclaimed. "Well, of course. This isn't the normal case. It's a bot's room and I've never seen a bot as advanced as Kotaro." Jeremy reminded. "Shh, what if he hears you?" Ulrich asked. shushing Odd. "Well, he's clearly not here. But forget that. Guys, check out what I've found." She pointed at photos of a small red headed boy. There were 3 photos. One is just him smiling at the camera. The next photo was him playing with a group of puppies. The final photo is a determined little boy with a cape on, playing super hero. "Nice finding." Odd said with slight excitement in his voice.

"So I take it Kotaro wasn't always a bot? Well, that would be similar to Aelitha's case since she wasn't always stuck on Lyoko either." Jeremy said, putting a fist under his chin as he continued to think. "Or maybe he's just that advanced. He was created by father, after all." Aelitha said. "What's with nosy people and not knocking? I was looking for you guys everywhere! So this is where you were. You better had not caused any trouble in here." The fully charged bot said in a cold tone as he stepped into the room, examining his surroundings closely to make sure nothing was out of place.

"Were you a human before?" Odd asked. Kotaro looked at the photos. "That's not me." He said with a straight face. "There's no use lying. He's the exact replica of you." Yumi stated, pushing the photo closer to his face. "He seems to love dogs. Just like you." Ulrich added, folding his arms against his chest. "Are you my blood brother?" Aelitha asked.

Kotaro was getting sick of the barrage of questions and accustions being thrown at him. Everyone was talking at once. "yeah-- no-- ENOUGH!" He yelled out. The group finally went silent. "I'll answer your stupid questions. Just. Not here. I don't want any accidents happening." It was true. If you took a closer look, his room was a complete mess with wiring. One mistep and the room could explode.

"First off. I'm just a mere robot. It's not within my program to lie to my friends." "So you admit we're friends." Jeremy said, pushing the glasses up the bridge of his nose as he recalled him stating that they weren't. "Obviously." Kotaro pinched the bridge of his nose. "But I demand you fill me in on what you've been keeping from me before I tell you anything!" The group looked at each other and nodded. It was only fair.

They filled Kotaro in about what they found in their little mock expetition and told him about the trap, filling in on the mini version of Aelitha they've encountered. Kotaro didn't seem angry. Not at all. In fact, he was far from it. But no one knew if his reaction was a good thing or a bad thing. "I see..."

"Well, now that we've explained ourselves. Don't you think it's your turn?" Aelitha asked. "Fine, fine. You win. In all honesty, I'm not sure if you guys will understand but I'll make this as simple as possible. " The red headed bot seemed much more relaxed since they weren't in his room. He folded his arms behind his head, tipping his chair back. "The boy in the photo. He isn't me. But yet, he's me at the exact same time. He's a 'me' from another dimension. In this dimension, I was never born. Simply 'created'.

The red head explained to the group that every dimension had a slightly different ending and some, drastic changes. "What I think about your little trip to Aelitha's past is: Xana found a way to time travel. But there's always a rule set called Ying and Yang. I believe you're familar with it? Xana couldn't go to that time period and dimension by himself. He had to drag one of us in there too so there'd be nearly a chance of each side acheiving victory."

He explained that Aelitha and Jeremy was always together in every dimension and that Odd always seemed to end up with a pretty girl. Different in each dimension. "Yes! I'm not forever alone after all! I mean, in dimensions where I've never met Kotaro" Odd rubbed the back of his head. "Odd is right. You guys never had a chance to cross paths with me because I always end up dead before you discover the factory in one way or another. Different deaths each time.. I just wanted some photos so I can feel... you know.. more human.."

"Robot or not, you'll always be our friend." Jeremy said full of confidence. Kotaro nodded before he continued. As for Yumi and Ulrich, half of the time, they ended up being together while the other half, they weren't together. This kind of left tension between Ulrich and Sissy and they both left the room. "Did I say something wrong?" Kotaro asked, puzzlingly. "Don't worry about it. They'll make up soon enough." Aelitha assured.
