Kotaro scratched under Kiwi's chin and had an innocent, most precious smile. "We'll be best friends forever, right?" He asks softly before nuzzling Kiwi's nose with his. There was some kind of aura around the two. But it all ended when the door opened and he couldn't help but freeze. "W-what do you want." Kotaro asked in his most demanding tone as he let go of Kiwi and crossed his arms, trying his best to get back into character. Odd couldn't help but let out a small snicker. "Don't be such a glum! The Kotaro I saw just now was perfect!" Odd said as he put an arm around Kotaro's neck, causing the red head's face to burn up with anger. "YOU WILL ALL FORGET ABOUT WHAT YOU JUST SAW RIGHT THIS INSTANCE!" Kotaro shouted. The group nodded vigorously. "What are you talking about?" Yumi asked. "Yes, just like that. That'll do. So what is it you came for again?" He asked once more. Jeremy sat on Odd's bed and opened his laptop, starting to type. "Well, first of all, it's OUR room." Ulrich reminded. "And we've found a secret map on Lyoko." Ulrich explained as he pointed at the map. "A sector we've never been to before. It could be a trap but we should go just in case we find something essential." Jeremy said as he pushed his glasses up the bridge of his nose, a light shining on them. "It's way better than just waiting for another attack." Aelitha added. "This time, we might take the attack to them!" Yumi said, a bit excited as she held her fist up in determination. "I see..." Kotaro muttered, seeming to think about it for a second or two. "Well, have fun. These two aren't coming with you." He said as he started to drag Aelitha and Odd out the door, intending to protect them from unnecessary harm.

However, the 5 were determined to go together. No lyoko warrior should be left behind. To them, this was like an expedition! If one person gets left behind and the others went out to discover the unknown then it was only natural they would feel left out. So they waited. Waited for the opportunity when Kotaro decided to recharge before sneaking into the laboratory and they did just that. Speaking of recharging, Kotaro had a habit of erasing his existence temporary from all adults and teenagers since he'd take a few days to recharge. He didn't want anyone to get on his case but unfortunately, he forgot all about Mel and Tomiya since he considered them as mere children. And those were the snoopiest of the pairs.

On their way to the lab, Ulrich stopped in his tracks, knowing full well a pest was following. And since Xana wasn't attacking, there's no returning to the past this time so keeping their location a secret is especially essential this time. Ulrich looked back, his hands shoved in his pockets. "Go home, Sissy!" He demanded. Sissy hid behind the tree and covered her mouth, hoping Ulrich would think he was just imagining things. When she peeked back, he was already gone. Drats! They do this every time! She stomped her feet angrily. But she felt like someone was missing. Oh, its Kotaro of course! She always wondered why the rest of them go, leaving him out. Perhaps he's the same as Sissy? Kept in the dark, too? Wait, who was Kotaro anyways? No, this isn't right. It's always been those 5 as a group! How did an extra person ever entered her mind? She concluded that she may have perhaps fallen a bit ill and went back to her room.

"Transfer. Scanner. Virtualization!" Jeremy said as the 4 lyoko warriors got virtualized 2 at a time. "It's rare for all 4 of us to be virtualized at the same time. This'll be fun!" Odd exclaimed before shooting a laser arrow at a monster. Aelitha took a few steps back and covered her mouth. She couldn't help but let out a gasp. There was a whole army of monsters protecting the once undiscovered sector this time! "Something's definitely up." Ulrich said as he twirled around his sword, deflecting the shots that were aimed at him. Yumi blocked a shot with her fan before throwing it like a boomerang. She nodded at Aelitha and Aelitha nodded back, knowing what she had in mind. She got on her knees and closed her eyes, starting to sing as a path started to form in front of the lyoko warriors that was above the whole army of monsters. It was an ice slide of some sort. "Time to cool off a little!" Odd said before he started skiing onto the ice slide with the others, shooting at the enemies at the same time. At the end of the ice slide, they came upon a huge blue crystal in the shape of a diamond. A blue glow was concentrated at the center. "Jeremy, do you see this?" Yumi asked. "Yeah. It's extraordinary! There's samples of it all around too. Try to bring back some of the mini ones." "Got it." Ulrich nodded and picked up a shard before the 4 got divirtualized. "Let's keep this a secret from Kotaro. He'll be really angry." Jeremy said. The others nodded.
