Strapping on her armor, Aura felt like a true warrior. Her dark locks tumbled down her shoulders, pushed back by the glistening tiara she had seen her mother often wear before battle, the symbol of Ailea (a star design) glistening in the triangle that dipped down over her forehead. Wrapping around her torso was the familiar gleaming red chest plate that was lined with gold, the blue skirt flaps moving with Aura as she finished strapping the armored greaves and boots to her legs, feeling like every bit a fighter as the hilt of her sword pressed against her thigh, her shield strapped to her back while her golden lasso hung, thick as rope, at her side. Smoothing out her skirt, Aura turned to Brunhild, who had strapped on her own armor.
"Looking good," Aura murmured to Brunhild.
Brunhild did indeed look just as ferocious as Aura. Her own armor was a suit that fit together like a one piece, whites and grays making up the fabrics of it while golden plates were scattered in an almost scaly design, reflecting the light as they clearly served as more shielding. Flowing over her shoulders was a brilliant blue cape while she had also allowed for her dark hair to be let loose, much like Aura. Similarly, Brunhild had her glittering blue Dragon Fang strapped to her side, the blue an icy hue in comparison to the richer and darker cape.
"If we die," responded Brunhild, fixing the gun Thor had given them to fire directly out from the hatches at the bottom of the ship. "At least our ghosts will look sexy."
"Because that's the most important thing," Aura held an eye roll, gazing down.
Beneath them was the Bifrost Bridge, or at least, that's what Brunhild had told Aura it was called, laying smoothed out as ever over the water. On the other end was a glittering dome of some sort in which Brunhild had also told Aura the key to the Bifrost lay, some sort of inter dimensional transporting system that the citizens would need to reach if they all wished to get off from Asgard, with the help of Heimdall.
Heimdall, as Aura was informed, was the gatekeeper of Asgard and held the sword in which operated the Bifrost. As she gazed down at the glimmering bridge, she could see what looked to be hundreds of refugees being led by a single, dark skinned, tall man with an enormous sword strapped to his back; a man that had to be Heimdall. Leading the mass of panic stricken people forwards, it was clear how important and respected Heimdall was as they followed him, all walking as calmly as possible through the fog in the chilling mist.
And then came the big, bad wolf.
An enormous, black wolf with glittering green eyes came galloping from the side that the people needed to get to, his mouth practically foaming as he gnashed his glittering white teeth ferociously. At once, the Asgardian's began to stumble backwards, nearly tripping over one another as Heimdall urged them to move backwards, frightened screams ringing out in the cool air.
