"I thought you were done for after she stabbed you."

Thor's words were a mere whisper as he spoke softly to Aura, the two of them alone within a hallway lit dimly, a bay window giving them a glimpse of the vast darkness of space as hundreds of thousands of stars glimmered within it. A smile tugged at the corners of Aura's lips as she glanced up at Thor, meeting his one eye with ease as the cut on her cheek had been cleaned, the stab wound on her leg having also been treated medically.

"Idiot," Aura responded just as softly, her eyes bright. "My weakness isn't small knives."

"I know," Thor grinned as his two hands strayed to her hips, holding them as he pulled her slightly closer to him. "But I was still worried about you. I care a lot for you and your safety, Aura."

"Idiot," repeated Aura affectionately.

Before Thor had a chance to say anything more, Aura's hands moved to the side of his face as she gently pulled him downwards, standing on the tips of her toes as she brought their lips together once more.

It started out all as one little innocent kiss, much like the one back on the bridge during the battle against Hela and her undead army. Yet it grew more passionate just like that time -- only now Brunhild wasn't around to stop them, nor was there any threat of the Goddess of Death.

Aura's hands were tangled up in Thor's cropped hair as he moved his arms so that they were completely wrapped around her midsection, pressing her up against his torso as he leaned into her and kissed her as fiercely as he could. It grew stronger as neither of them bothered to pull away, both of their lips moving together as their mouths parted slightly as Aura's tongue met with Thor as their bodies moved together faster and faster with neither even slightly slowing, the passion only growing stronger and then --

"Are you two always attempting to eat each other's faces off?"

It was Loki. Walking into the small room, he had his arms folded across his chest as he watched Aura slowly pull herself away from Thor, pink lingering on her cheeks as Thor was smiling heartily. Once again, Loki appeared thoroughly underwhelmed as he regarded the two with both eyebrows arched perfectly.

"Are you always going to interrupt?" Aura countered as smoothly as she could, fixing her hair, which had become disheveled as she struggled to keep calm.

"I will if you both insist on doing this in every space imaginable," retorted Loki coolly, his eyes flickering towards his brother. "Brother, I most sincerely apologize," Loki didn't sound apologetic whatsoever as he continued on. "But I must speak with you at once... alone."

"Must?" Thor echoed. "Why is it always must? You never seem to want."

"That's because I'd rather stick pins in my eyes than talk to you," Loki looked as if he were hiding an eye roll as he gazed expectantly at Aura. "Your friends are outside, waiting for you."

"What?" Aura groaned in annoyance. "Of course they were spying on us."

"Before you go," Thor's arm snaked out just as Aura moved to leave, catching her wrist as he glanced at her hopefully, pointing at his lips. "What about one more for the road?"

"How about no," was Aura's response as she grinned at him, pulling away.

"I like her," commented Loki thoughtfully as Aura made her exit from the room, the door sliding shut behind her. "She has much more fire than that pitiful mortal -- and she's actually able to hold her own in battle."

Stepping into the hallway of the ship, once again bordered by a window that showed off the immense vastness of space, Aura's lips still tingled from Thor's kiss as they were curved up into a teasing smile, yet her arms were crossed as she stared at Brunhild and Hulk, both who had been pressed up against the side of the wall almost guiltily as Aura emerged.

"Well?" Aura asked, eying them.

"Well," said Brunhild, thinking fast. "What's it like to kiss the God of Thunder and new King of Asgard, hmm?"

"Not kiss," grunted Hulk, grinning. "Eat faces off."

Watching her friends burst into raucous laughter, Aura found it very hard to keep a straight face as she tapped her foot in exasperation, eying the both of them with irritation.

"Very funny, you two. I think -- "

But Aura never got to finish her sentence.

Her words dying in her throat, Aura whirled around as an enormous shadow broke in through the window, covering them in a sudden blanket of darkness. Looming overhead was an absolutely enormous ship, all the starlight seemed to be swallowed up whole by it as it sucked out any light.

Her eyes widening in horror, Aura couldn't form words as she stared. Parting her lips slightly, Aura's entire body felt weak with anticipation as her mouth suddenly felt dry, opening and closing rapidly as she struggled to find words, finally able to murmur a couple out hoarsely as her eyes drunk in the sight of the ship she never thought she'd ever have to see again.

"He's found me."
