Chapter Two

"Nina?"

"Hey, Ric" I barged into the room he was staying in at the Salvatore house. He had left our house and moved here without me even knowing. I didn't wanna bother asking why so I just ignored it.

"What's up?" He looked at me nervously.

"I want you to tell me about what happened in Tennessee," I said as I looked around his little man cave. I found spotted a picture of him and Aunt Jena by his bed.

"I thought I was not going to be in this anymore" he sighed scratching the scruff on his cheek. I noticed he hadn't shaved in a while and his hair messier than usual. The bags under his eyes and his attitude was all because of us. Me.

"Please, I know I'm asking for a lot but please I need to find my sister" I begged.

He sighed and nodded walking towards his bed. He sat down and looked up at me "They've been tracking werewolves, he and Klaus. All up the eastern seaboard"

"Why won't Stefan just leave, why?"

"Because Klaus is keeping Elena hostage, she's plan B" he states.

Elena, I miss her so much. "Why werewolves?"

I ended up meeting up with Tyler. He sat with me at a table in the farthest corner of the grill. "A lot of us like to keep to our selves for the full moon. Chain ourselves up. But there are some wolves that like to gather in places where they don't have to do that. Where they can enjoy their freedom"

"And where is that exactly?" I asked.

"Mountains, state parks, deserts, just less crowded areas" he stated, ever since Tyler became accustomed to being a werewolf he's changed. He can control his anger and his body changed from being just a high school teenager to a full-grown man.

"Anywhere in Tennessee?" I asked him.

Tyler looked at me kinda suspiciously but it seems like he just shook it off. "Uh, yea here" Tyler took my phone from the table and pulled up a map.

I smiled and looked at the location "Thank you"

"Nina?"

"Yea?" I looked back up at him.

"I'm sorry, for everything"

"It's ok Tyler, don't stress yourself out, no one blames you," I said and got up from the table.

"Nina?" I turn to see Alaric as I was walking out the grill.

I smiled showing some teeth "oh hey Ric"

"Did I just see you with Tyler?" He asked raising a brow.

"Umm Yes?"

"Mhm, and what were you guys talking about?" He asked following me as I walk away from the grill.

"Well you see I was just wondering how Jeremy was doing at work so I came and saw Tyler" I laughed nervously god I hate lying "And well when I saw him I was like 'oh hey it's my buddy Tyler, I'm gonna drink a milkshake with him!' Ha yea that happened," I said as he looked at me like I was crazy to even think he bought that.

"Nina Annabelle Gilbert do you think I'm an idiot?" I chuckled as he said my full name.

"Of course not well if you excuse me I have a date with destiny!"

Ric arrived at my house with a big bag. "And where are you going? Camping?"

"Well I was wondering how pretty the full moon would look tonight," he said as I closed the front door of my house.
