Chapter Five

Junior year has finally come but that does not mean Nina can skip out on the Senior prank Caroline created. Nina, Caroline, Bonnie, and Tyler were in a dark classroom. They all stayed quiet setting up mouse traps on floors and desks. It had taken them two hours to finish when the door to the room opened scaring Tyler and the girl causing the mouse traps to go off. Matt stood at the door dumbfounded "Matt!" His mouth hung open. "It took us forever to set these up!" Caroline angrily pointed to all the traps.

"I totally forgot about Senior prank day" Matt sighed trying to hide a smirk from Caroline.

"How could you forget we've only been waiting for this since like freshman year" Caroline waved her arms around frustrated.

"Yea Matt if I'm doing this, you're doing this, and I'm not even a senior" Nina smiled towards her best friend.

"I'm kinda surprised any of you is doing this" He laughed looking at all the mouse traps.

"Caroline is making us," Tyler said causing Caroline to glare at him.

"We're about to be seniors these are the memories that stay with us forever and if we don't" Bonnie continued with Caroline's little speech.

"And if we don't create these memories now, then what's the point of it all?" Nina laughed as Bonnie finished the speech they had heard one too many times.

"Go ahead make fun, I don't care," Caroline said raising her brows.

"You're all lame and I've got ten more classes to prank" Tyler walked out with a huge gym bag and Nina followed behind.

"Hey, where are you going missy?" Caroline said crossing her arms.

"To superglue Alaric's desk shut" That made Caroline smile bigger than she ever did that whole summer. "I'm making memories"

"I love you!" Caroline shouted as Nina walked out of the classroom.

"Get the faculty toilet seats, and Dana needs bodies in the gym. Let's go" Tyler said to other seniors.

Nina made her way to Alaric's room going through double doors to get to the other hall. She stopped and almost screamed when Klaus Mikelson showed up in front of her inches from her face. "Hello love"

"Klaus" Nina gasped and knew she had nowhere to run. He was too fast for her.

"You're supposed to be dead," Klaus said grabbing her arm. "You put a rather large kink in my plans, sweetheart" Klaus held her in an unbelievably tight hold making bruises form on her wrist. "The whole point of breaking the curse and becoming a Hybrid was to make more Hybrids"

"Ugh," His hold becoming tighter. Tears formed in Nina's eyes wishing someone would save her.

"I haven't been able to do that. Now my bet is it has something to do with the fact that you're still breathing!" Nina screamed as she felt her wrist snap.

"If you're gonna kill me just do it!" Nina cried trying to follow and keep up Klaus's fast pace.

"Not until I know I'm right. But I do have ways of making you suffer" Klaus banged open the door of the gym filled with innocent seniors having fun on prank night.

"Attention, seniors you have officially been busted." Nina looked up at Klaus noticing his accent disappeared and he now had an American accent. "Prank night is over, head on home" Everyone groaned and started to pack up. "You two" Klaus now had his accent back as he stopped two students. "I remember you" Dana and Chad turned around they had been dating since freshman year of highschool oblivious to what was recalling going on in Mystic Falls.
