Video: Just a clip I often watch to get some inspiration since I totally envy Padme in it and direly wish to be in her position. Whoopsies.

Finally got a day off work, urf. I'm going to try to finally wrap this mini-series up, enjoy :3

Chaos

It was absolute chaos.

The wailing of the police cars' sirens mixing in with the panicked screams of the street racers as they dashed to their rides. They were trying to scramble their way out of the violent ambush and away from the cruel grip of the cuffs snapping at the cold night air.

Even Feli's yells no longer made sense. She was frantically handing out orders, trying to organize the Titans' fleeing by telling who should go first and where to go to get away from the cops. But clearly, with the way her voice was cracking and gradually losing its power, even she was realizing it. There was no escape.

Even your leadership skills are failing you now, Felicity. Obi-Wan could recall everything the girl had attempted and done to get the drivers to head back to their turf, how hard she had tried and how those efforts had all paid off in the end.

"When I arrived at Mount Carbon, you all told me it was your turf, your territory, and you defended it with all your might. You wouldn't allow me to step all over it. So what's so different about now? Isn't Mount Carbon still yours!? Who cares if these guys are cops? It doesn't change the fact that you're the Titans and that you belong at Mount Carbon! There's nothing different about all of this. You have a turf to defend!"

Oh, but there is something different about this, Felicity. The Scot watched silently from within his slumbering Charger. The police won't merely smash your pride like street racers would. They'll stop this altogether.

He spotted Christina struggling against a cop's unforgiving grip. Tim running over, screaming in uncharacteristic rage as he threw himself at his friend's kidnapper to try and fend him off. Bart, paralyzed due to being so overstimulated by both his hyperactive mind and the horrific ambush going on around him. Roy, diving after those who had considered him as a comrade, locking cuffs onto their wrists, his expression hard and stony.

Felicity, in the middle of it all, her face full of pain and misunderstanding as she hopelessly watched everything tumble around her.

Obi-Wan couldn't watch. Not with the way the girl's expression made his heart ache and bleed.

It's time to leave.

He turned the keys, heard his blue ride roar to life, its headlights blinding fleeing racers and allowing cops to catch up to them. Screams sliced through the air as fights broke out between the opposing parties, yet clearly, the law would have its way tonight.

The young man started driving out of the ambush site, being careful not to hit any running drivers or to get in the way of their pursuers.

And that's when he saw it.

A RX-8, zooming down the pass back toward town.

She had given in to her panic, deserted her friends to try to save her own skin.

Even you have your limits, Felicity. No matter how much you push yourself to be the perfect leader, you're only human. I already told you. Why can't you realize that?

His car, giving out a low growl as he yielded to the instinct of chasing.

He had seen the Mazda driver in action, taking on corners like a master and zipping down brief straightaways, but never had he actually bothered to try to keep up. Never had he felt such a thrill while driving either.
