Peter's eyes were dilated, fuzzed, and a blur. Groggily, he lifted his head. His neck cracked. He looked around, as though his surroundings would have changed. He looked down at his feet, sadden at the fact that Ironman or one of the Avengers hadn't come to save him yet. At first, Peter couldn't tell if his feet were still there. They were so numb and freezing that they were blue...not good. But at least they were on the ground. Peter looked to his side, at his spider suit. It hung there. Like a relic in a museum. Untouched in, what felt like, years. The mask on the floor, folded neatly. His phone was still in the pocket of his right pants leg. Lighten up.
Peter's eyes, sadden moments ago, filled with excitement. "Yes!" Peter whispered to himself. "I knew it....I knew it!" The large, empty room rang out with his voice. "Just gotta get..." He pushed his weakened foot against the floor, starting a little sway side to side. "Gotta get a little close..." Again he pushed with what tiny power he had left against the ground. The sways got bigger. "Closer... c'mon..." He extended his arm out, his finger tips brushing over the sleeve of his suit. "Please..c'mon," Peter's fingers grabbed the middle part of the sleeve... firm. "Yes!" The room rang out again.
Slowly, his pulled it off the hook. His phone made it hit the floor quickly, causing his grip to slide down the sleeve. Pulling, he got it underneath his body. Filled with joy, Peter did a little bounce on his toes, then wincing in pain. He was definitely sore. This was the first day he wasn't in as much pain as the previous days. Taking a deep breath to prepared himself, he used his feet to pick up his phone and hand it to his hands. His screen lit up again...8:52 p.m, three text messages, five missed calls, and thirty-two instagram likes. "Twenty percent" Peter mumbled. He unlocked the phone quickly, diling Tony's number first. It rang...once, twice, a third. "hello?"
