I woke up happy to finally be able to see my friends after all of this time, but I'm not too ecstatic about seeing 'them' again. But I'll get to that later. I jumped in the shower brushed out my hair, slipped on white ripped shorts, a black cut band shirt, and a bow in my hair. (Yes I put on my under clothes essentials.)

My mom called me and asked if I needed a ride even though she knows that Kaitlyn is driving me. By the way Kaitlyn is my neighbor who I have known my entire life, and I hope we have all of our classes together. I walked out the front door and skated to her front door which isn't too far.

I knocked on the familiar wooden door and when she opened the door her jaw hit the floor.

"Why are you looking at me like that!?" I asked.

"Your hair is so pretty!" She shrieked. I rolled my eyes and entered her house ignoring her yelling my name, I open the refrigerator door and grab a yogurt.

Kaitlyn walked in the kitchen dressed in a pink and blue sundress, brown wedges, and her hair curled to perfection. I throw away my yogurt and we get in her car, then next thing I know we pull up to the school parking lot.

We get out of the car and instant my I am smashed against Kaitlyns car. I squeezed my eyes shut and tried to scream but I couldn't, a big hand was covering my eyes. I open my eyes and it's Calum, relief washes over me but quickly fades when I see his friends heading over to me. How is Kaitlyn not seeing this? I turn my head and Ashton has her pinned against a wall, flirting? She has a boyfriend.

Calum comes close to my ear and whispers "Shhhh" before smirking and walking away.

Michael grabs my wrist just as I was about to walk away and he seductively says "where are you going beautiful?" I shiver and start to walk away again, when his hand meets my cheek.

"No one walks away from me!" He yells. I flinch and carefully touch my cheek. Thankfully my friends all grab Michael and Luke and take them around the corner.

I look over to Kaitlyn who is trying to get away from Ashton, when he slaps her. She grabs her cheek an forcefully pushes him against the wall. She starts yelling

"Your not the only one who loses it from time to time!" And walks away from him.

We both walk into the bathroom to fix our cheeks with foundation, when the rest of our friends run into the bathroom completely out of breath. They start applying makeup to us and when we all finish checking ourselves in the mirror for the last time we go to the office to receive our schedules.

Kaitlyn and I walk into home room and take our seats in the back of the room. Her boyfriend sits right in front of her and the lesson begins.

The first day went by fairly quick and I haven't seen 'them' once after this mornings whole fiasco.

Kaitlyn and I walk to her car and Aspen runs up to us with her motorcycle helmet in hand.

"Hey guys" she chirps. We exchange our hellos and she tells us about a party that our friend Fawn is throwing this Friday. She runs to her new boyfriend and introduces us to him.

He's really cute but not as cute as Cal...what am I saying? He set up the whole thing this morning and didn't even apologize.

Piper and Fawn walk up to us and almost immediately we start up a conversation. Fawn shuts us all up so she can talk about something apparently very important. We all stop talking and lean against the hood of Kaitlyn's car and listen to Fawn.

"Ok guys, you know how I've always wanted a beach house for when I'm eighteen?" We all nod and she continues.

"Well since my birthday was a couple days ago, my dad bought me one!" We all start squealing and she holds up her hands to silence us. "I want it to be our little getaway place, so I'm gong to give you guys the address and here are the keys to the house." She hands each of us personalized keys and we all hug her.

"One rule." She says sternly. We tilt our heads and she continues. "No sex on the counters." We all laugh and smack her arm. Fawn and Piper walk away to their cars. Aspen gets on her bike and leaves. While Kaitlyn and I quickly go to Starbucks for a pumpkin spice hot chocolate. I pay, and we go to the park to finish them off. For some reason the sun gets blocked and I look up from my drink to see four muscular bodies hovering over us.

Luke balls his fists and darts for Kaitlyn when Ashton pushes him back.

"What the fuck is wrong with you man!" Ashton yells to Luke.

"I-I thought that maybe I could talk some sense into her?" Luke stutters raising his eyebrow but steps out of the way.

Ashton smacks Kaitlyns drink out of her hand and she loses it. She puts her phone in her back pocket and pounces on Ashton's back pulling his hair. He screams in pain and Calum tries to pry her off of his back and she jumps off, slapping them both in the face and sassily walking to her car.

Both Calum and Ashton's jaws are dropped and Michael speaks "What a woman."

I scoff and throw my almost now cold drink in Ashton's face and I jog to her car. She starts it and sooner or later we pull up at Starbucks yet again.
