"I was praying that you and me might end up together"
- Ron Pope

"And class, that is why when Krakatoa erupted, it could be heard from 4,800 kilometres away in Australia."
The sound of the bell rings, signalling the end of class as boys and girls all rush out to the filled corridors.
Honestly, how on earth do you have so much energy after a seven hour day of school?
Beats me.
As I was walking to my locker I see Willow leaning against it.
"Kael, so I thought of a place we could go today!"
"Oh really? And where might that be Willow?"
"Hmm, well we'll have to find out won't we?"
I smiled.
It was nice to know that although I may not be dating Willow, I was still the person she wanted to spend her time with.
It was a pleasant feeling that she would rather spend time with me than Fredrick the weird boy that picks at his earwax in the front row of every class and has been talking to Willow non stop.
It's a relief.
❃❃
It only took a couple of minutes before I realised why Willow never really wanted to show me any part of herself.
It's because she thought she was strange and abnormal.
But for the first time, Willow showed me something about her.
"Okay, you can open your eyes I guess", Willow muttered.
As I opened my tightly shut eyes I saw it.
Was this why she never told me about her family?
In front of me stood a small, almost Victorian like building, painted in weird and un corresponding colours.
In front of the porch there were three wooden seats each in a different colour.
To sum it up, the house was strange, odd even.
But it had a strange sense of home.
"Wow".
"I know, I know. It's basically a dump compared to your house, but it's home."
I looked away from the house to see Willow's nervous face, the first time I had seen it to be so honest.
"A dump? Are you honestly joking? I love it! It's unique and different all the houses around here."
Willow smiled, and it was then I knew I had done something right in my life.
"Want to see the inside?"
"Lead the way".
❃❃❃❃❃
The inside of Willows house was somewhat a replica of the outside.
It was exactly what you would call 'comfy'.
It was miniature, but that didn't stop Willow and her family from cramming everything inside there.
Couches, pillows, a small kitchen, a toilet and a worn out television.
The upstairs area was significantly smaller- two bedrooms and a bathroom.
Willow's room was almost exactly how I imagined it to be.
Filled with hippie stuff and various colours.
Each room was almost exactly the same, they all looked like they belonged together in this very house.
The home was warm and it gave off a very 'cozy vibe'.
I don't know what Willow was afraid of because I was like a fish, spitting out compliments.

Patty and Scott Mathews were amazing people, both into the environment and how the world was created.
Scott even had his own theory that dinosaurs are still alive and are living below the earth. He also believe this is why earthquakes happen, because the dinosaurs kick the surface of the earth.
Don't ask me.
Patty makes the best soufflé and Scott is a mean baseball player.
It's not too hard to realise where Willow gets her self confidence from.
By the end of the night I think my six-pack turned into an eight-pack by the amount that I laughed at their house.
It was great fun, and I understand why Willow would be embarrassed.
It wasn't too hard to tell she didn't come from the richest of families but if she thought that I would stop talking to her because of it she had a whole other thing coming!
At the end of the night me and Willow sat outside on two of the three wooden chairs on her porch and just talked until it became dark and I had to head home.
Willow smiled at me as if to tell me that she was thankful for not judging her.
And I smiled back as if saying she was the only person I couldn't judge.
As she head inside, I took one last look at the house and realised how it so beautifully resembled Willow.
On the outside, it was colourful and gorgeous.
But on the inside there was so much more.
On the inside there was more than meets the eye.
Little things crammed in a small space trying to hide.
But I knew that eventually all those little things would turn into the big reason of why I liked Willow.
She was effortlessly beautiful, and she made me falling in love with her seem effortless.
But she was effortlessly clueless.
Authors note:
Okay, okay.
I promised I would update regularly and I lied!
I'm sorry but I was on break and I was just too lazy!
Sue me!
Anywho, I hope you enjoy this chapter because I definitely had fun writing it.
Sorry it's kind if un-edited!
