Authors Note: I really hope you liked my first chapter. Just a reminder that you must read the prologue before this so you can understand this chapter and the ones ahead. As you might have known, I have previously written a book before ( well I'm still writing it).

I was aiming for something different for Bliss, so I really do hope you find a liking towards it : )

'Can't promise that things won't be broken,

But I swear that I will never leave.

Please say forever with me.'

I let myself drown in the well written lyrics of Sleeping With Sirens.

I sink all hopes of my original plan- studying.

I bet it's abbreviated for stupid- dying.

Wow Kael, could you get any lamer?

A few days have passed since Willow had arrived, and as the lyrics sunk into my skin and my eyes flutter shut, her thoughts lay awake in my head.

Yesterday Willow had shown up with freshly dyed pink hair. She had twirled and twisted it into the messiest bun ever created. However, no matter what. No matter how many times Willow had dyed and tied her hair. One thing remained the same, the assortment of flowers in hair. Willow had different flowers in her hair everyday- from Daisy's to Dandelions, you name it.

Her wardrobe consisted of a different ensemble each time but held one thing in common, the use of colour. No matter how bi-polar her dressing was, Willow always incorporated colour in her clothes and just about everything else, for a matter of fact.

Willow, I had learnt, was rather odd. Something about her was so different about anyone else I had ever met. The way her fluttery fingers danced around everywhere, and the way her eyes sparkled when she laughed. Even her clothing and hair was unique, and as much as I disliked to admit it, I liked it.

"Higher, higher!"

I let out a small chuckle at the thrilled excitement in her voice.

As apart of being a good friend I had invited Willow over to our local park. Or you could just say that I wanted to spend more time with her, which ever you prefer.

I watch as the look of excitements flashes in her eyes and the way she clings onto the metal chains for dear life.

Her long, wavy, newly purple locks swish and sway beside her as the wind flicks through her mane.

"Kael, put some back into it. Push! I want to go higher. I want to go as high as the sky, and then, when I reach the top, I will reach out and grab a star. I swear I will, and when I do, I promise I'll share it with you Kael. After all, I couldn't have done it without you."

A smile fills up my face as I see the thrill and adventurous look fill up her eyes.

She gives a far away look before she turns to me and grins.

"Would you like that Kael?"

I give her a puzzled look.

"Would I like what?"

She tucks a piece of hair behind her ears as she continues to swing.

"Would you like it if I caught a special star and shared it with you?"

I grin like an idiot at the thought.

" I think I would like that very much."
