Graduation day was something Sophia had been waiting since she had stepped her foot in the first place in Highschool,even though things turned up amazing for her.
She was the school's president,straight A student plus she was dating the captain of the school's football team and the town's golden boy.It didn't mattered to her though what he was,she loved Jesse,she really did,since that first day in Elementary school they had that connection which brought them close.They were best friends for a while until they decided to make the big step and they became a couple,they were the school's sweethearts.
By the end of Highschool,they were officially ready to started their new life,in which they were supposed to make their choices and survive without their parents having their back 24/7.
She had it all planned out,she knew what she wanted to study since the start of Highschool.Her and Jesse knew that no matter what or no matter how far from each other they were,nothing was going to get between them.
The graduation day as any other day soon came to an end,but the bright side was the fact that the couple was going to spend their last summer together.As soon as September was supposed to come Sophia had plans for her future,she was accepted in one of the best schools in London to study what she had always wanted.
That summer was special.They had spend it with their best friends that were couples as well,traveling around the country.The highlight of their relationship came that summer.After their traveling with their friends they had organized a weekend alone in Paris where they were going to visit Disneyland as well,one of Sophia's bucket list places.
There was were it happened.After getting out of one of the rides he kneeled in front of her just like that,he was sure though,what if they were only 18 years old,the feelings they shared were surely a lot stronger than most of the adults' ones.
Sophia had done a lot of thinking whether she was going to go to London as she was also accepted in one of the best universities in Manchester which was way closer than London.
A year after that day in Disneyland they had planned the wedding.
She ended up going to London.Her and Jesse promised that their upcoming marriage wasn't going to hold them from making their dreams come true.He was in fact the one that persuaded her to go there.Jesse stayed in Warrington but they had promised to each other that every Friday night one of them was going to visit the other one,Sophia would have gone back to Warrington for one weekend and then the next weekend Jesse was visiting her in London.
That's how they were planning their wedding and they did planned everything.By the time Sophia had finished her first year studying Law,Jesse was already making an impression to every single scout that was coming for him.They were both trying to make their dreams happen in just the age of 19 while they had their wedding just around the corner.
It was the end of August,the exact same day that he had kneeled in front of her a year before,that their wedding day was taking place.The whole community was happy and excited about those two.Everyone had seen them grow together and they could see it in their eyes how much the loved each other,that was why everyone was shocked when Jesse didn't show up.
Everything was going just how they had planned it,Sophia was getting ready with her bridesmaids waiting for the best day of her life to happen when she found out the news.
Her two bridesmaids were putting their finishing touches on her dress and makeup when their boyfriends that happened to be Jesse's two best men made their way.One of them nodded to his girlfriend so as to follow him outside.Next thing you know they were joined by the other couple and then the two bridesmaids were informed that Jesse had left.
Unfortunately for them Sophia had heard them,it's needless to say that she was a wreck.The whole community was.That was when the town saw Jesse for the last time well actually they didn't see him but it was the last they heard from him after him leaving everyone.
Sophia had then found out that he was in Manchester and he had signed a contract for Manchester United.She called him,numerous times actually but the voicemail was always coming up.
The whole town had Sophia's back especially Jesse's mum,after all he had left her as well,just like his father did.
Soon the summer came to an end,unfortunately for her Jesse hadn't returned any of her calls that made her realize that,it was officially the end for her and Jesse.It was hard for her but it was official.Definitely,it wasn't how she picture it but she had to adjust at the changes.
She packed her bags and she left for London.Going back there wasn't easy but it gave her a chance to move on.Surely,it was easy being in Warrington,everything was reminding her of him.The football pitches,the small cafes,the church,their school,the small lake,everything.After all,she had Dele in London,who was more like her brother than her cousin.He was there for her,all along.
If Jesse could walk out of Warrington and from her life like that she surely could move on,that was what she kept telling herself.
