Sophia was standing in front of her desk facing Jesse who was still in shock and sat on one of the chairs.He had a daughter,that or Sophia cheated on him when they were together but he knew her more than that.
"I didn't find out that i was pregnant until i returned in London a few weeks after our supposed to be wedding day.I was shocked.You had walked out on me,i was humiliated and i couldn't come back here and i only had Dele and yet even though you had humiliated me and you weren't answering to any of my calls i called you again.I told myself that i would call you one last time but you never answered.I don't know how i managed but i took all my strength and i wrote you a letter and i sent it,i knew that i couldn't take that back but i never got a reply.You had completely moved on and i had to."She told him bringing up all the memories.
"So i am a dad?"He loudly thought and Sophia nodded.
"And you named her Kirsty."
"I did that for your mum.She has always been there for me and Kirsty,you know that when you left she was calling every single day so as to make sure that i was okay?She was also one of the first people to know."
"Wait my mum knew?"Jesse asked even more shocked.
"Of course.She had helped me all along and Kirsty adores her,they are really close."Sophia explained.
"Why didn't she say anything?"
"I asked her not to.After all my tryings,i told myself that i wasn't going to interrupt you or your life,you left that part of your life back and i respected that."She told him and he knew that she was genuinely honest with hin.
"I want to get to know her."He told her.
"No that's going too fast."
"But Sophia i do have the right to get to know her,i am her father."
"I know but if you walk into her life you can't just walk out of it later as you did to mine's.You have to be sure,we can talk about it in a week or something."
"Sophia please i really want to,i am sure what have i do ti prove that to you?"
"You don't need to prove anything but i will be there."
