The next day was holding a lot for Jesse.He had a hard night falling asleep the previous night as he was going through different conversation ideas on his mind.Also the fact that he wanted to surprise in a good way Sophia with his behavior was only putting more pressure on him.
He got up and made his usual coffee.His mum was nowhere to be seen.He had a couple hours before he had to met Sophia in order to get their daughter from school.Even by only saying it to his mind,seemed weird for him.
He wanted it to be good,he wanted to prove that he was capable and ho est about wanting to be a part of Kirsty's life.Sophia was genuine enough to give him a chance and he surely didn't want to blew it.

It was ten to three when he reached the park where he was supposed to meet Sophia.He took a glance around and saw the place he spent the majority of his childhood in.Countless memories made their appearance.From playing football with his friends to kissing the girl he was now facing for the first time.
It was the place he had kissed her for the first time,well not only had he kissed her but also he had confessed his feelings for her,you could easily say that it was the place that everything started for him and Sophia.Little did he know that that confession was later going to bring a major changes to his life.
It was also the place he had firstly played football in,it was the place that he firstly dreamed of being one of the best players in the world,his younger self just wanted to be able to give people the feeling he felt when the ball was making it in the back of the nets.You could say that he had not only made his dream come true but he was slowly working his way up to be one of the best.
Now,it was the place that his relationship with his daughter was going to start evolving and he wanted it to be the best he could.What if he had already lost 5 years from her life he still had a chance and he was surely about taking it.
"Are you sure that you really want to do this?"Sophia asked him one last time.
"Yeah,i am sure."Jesse nodded.
"Then let's go."Sophia said motioning the way so as to follow her.
"You know isn't it weird?"Jesse asked which caused her to stop and she turned to him.
"What?"
"How things in life are not always turning out as we have imagine."
"Are you talking about Kirsty?"
"We are standing in front of the doors that we used to get out,waiting to pick our daughter for school.I mean have you ever thought about that?"
