P.O.V.: Ben
Piss.
Shit.
Ass, motherf-ugh
I watched as Devon, my wannabe, rolled down his window and whipped out his Vector. He began to shoot at the window, most bullets bouncing off, but the window's integrity was beginning to deteriorate. He laughed and flipped us off as he did so.
"Any ideas?" Kap asked from outside my window.
I looked at him and just shrugged. "I don't know!"
"Well you guys better think of something quick!" Antonio shouted back at us.
"Shut up, and drive!" I said shoving his ass through the seats. He rammed into the wheel and we jerked to the left. He quickly crawled onto the seat and corrected himself to sit properly. He slammed us against the Jocks as we made another turn.
"This could've gone a lot better..." Kap winced as he held his bleeding shoulder. He had to duck lower as bullets flew over head, almost hitting him. "Dammit!"
He reached to his hip and pulled free one of his FN CALs. "You wanna go?!" He said, peeking himself over the roof of the car as far as he could with his coat in the door. I turned around in time to see Devon duck to dodge the incoming shots.
What am I supposed to do? I thought to myself.
"Goddammit." I mumble to myself as I reloaded my rifle. I scooted over to the other seat and rolled down the window.
Devon was just climbing out again to fire at Kap when he saw me aim the gun. "Hey!" I laughed as he ducked back in barely missing my rapid fire. Ron ducked as well as the bullets hit the other window beside him.
"Yunno what, motherfuckers?" I said as I pulled a grenade from my belt. "Here's an early Christmas present." I flicked off the ring with my thumb and let the clip fling to the side. I held it for a few seconds, listening to the tick. "Sincerely, the Pope, bitches!" I tossed the frag at their window. You should have seen the fear I saw in their eyes. Their jaws dropped like a 12 year old boy's balls.
Lucky for them, Ashley hit the breaks and the grenade bounced off her window instead of flying through theirs. The grenade blew between us, hitting most of their side and nipping the back of us.
We almost spun out of control but thankfully Antonio knows how to drive well enough to keep us alive. Kap on the other hand...
With the force of the explosion, and his numbing arm, Kap lost his grip to the car and slipped out of his coat.
"Kāpena!" I shouted leaping to the window. Kahu barked furiously. I stuck my head out and looked backwards, the air whipping through my hair, and my face being slapped by his coat. I couldn't see him anywhere. "We have to turn around!" I said to Antonio.
"Right." He said as he positioned his hands on the wheel to spin around. Just before he did so, we were hit from the side and I had to whip my head back in the car before a light pole took it from me.
I looked to our right to see the challenger again. "Damn!" I growled.
The car was dented in the middle, the back door dented open a little bit, and cracks ran up the driver's window. Devon's lip was bleeding and he looked very very mad. Ron behind him looked fine, but didn't seem to be any more happy.
Ashley continued to drive, but with a much more stern look. Blood ran down the side of her face from her brow, and her ear was bleeding a little as well. Her dog continued barking at us at her side.
Dammit. We have to get rid of these punks if we want to get back to Kap...
The blaring music, barking dogs, bullets flying, and swearing was starting to give me a headache. "Can you turn off he music?!" I shouted.
Antonio happily obliged and shut off Bangarang.
I fired my rifle again at Devon and Ron, but the ducked down and let the bullets rip at the inside of their car. I could see Ashley shout at them, and Ron took an opening to fire his pistol at me. I barely managed to push myself backwards to miss the bullets, but my gun wasn't so lucky. A bullet shot the firing mechanism inside, making the gun useless.
"Motherf-" I shouted just before the bullets stopped and Ron had to reload. I looked out the window to see Devon reloading his Vector. "God... dammit!" I whipped out my 1911 pistol, gripping firmly on the custom Koa wood handle. "Get some!"
My gun launched bullets, as their bullets shot back at me. The three of us swerved, dodged, ducked, shot, and cursed at each other. Neither side making a good hit with all the squirming around. Every time the cars made a turn and we banged into each other, Devon and I would have a mini arm wrestle. Only with more punching and strangling.
Antonio and Ashley continuously shouted curse words at each other and flipping off one another with Kahu growling and barking in between their vision of one another. I could barely hear Ash, but it seemed to me her words were a lot more clever compared to Antonio's. Another reason she's Kap's counter part.
Kap.
"We have to turn around, Antonio!" I shouted.
"You think I don't know this?!" He shouted irritatedly back at me.
I couldn't help but think of Kap running through the streets swinging his arms around in the air, shouting at us for leaving him behind. That made me smile. Then I began to think of the realistic side. Kap... limping through the streets.... blood furiously dripping down his arm... in the cold... in the darkest part of the city... and probly very mad at us for leaving him behind.
"He's gonna kill us if we don't turn around right now!" I said.
"They're gonna kill us right now if we don't-" He stopped mid sentence and froze. After a moment he pushed his finger into his earpiece he had put on a while ago. "What? Why?" He said.
He kept one hand on the wheel as the Jocks and I continued our little war in the back seats.
"Okay... how do I do that?" He asked, hovering his fingers over the buttons of the car. He finally pushed one and continued to look back at the road, making a turn.
"What was that?" I asked.
Before he could answer, the Jocks spun out of control, bullets littering their side. Devon quickly rolled up the window, but both of their tires quickly blew out and they jerked to the side, smashing into a fire hydrant.
I pulled myself out the window to look behind us. The car's trunk was wide open as bullets flew out from it continuing to pierce the Challenger. Antonio turned a corner before the fury of bullets could get the three confirmed kills. I could faintly hear laughing from the trunk.
No way...After an hour or so of driving, even dodging a chase from the cops, we made it back to the house. Antonio insisted not to stop any earlier just to be safe from people trying to catch up.
I jumped out of the car as Antonio rolled up into the garage. I ran to the back and saw Kap lounging in the back.
His arm was resting on the top of his Gatling gun, with his other arm limp on his side covered in blood. But, as always, he smiled at me. "Thanks for turning around." He said.
"What!?" I shouted. "That's Antonio's fault-!"
"I'm joking!" He said laughing.
I heard Kahu bark from the side before he barreled over. He leaped into the trunk and attacked Kap with licks. "Hey boy!" He said.
Antonio walked over with Kap's coat in his hand. "This belongs to you." He said.
"Thanks..." Kap said. "I'd reach over, but uh..." he looked over to his arm.
"How much blood did you lose?" Antonio asked.
"Um..." he looked up like he was thinking. "About as much as your mom dispersed last night."
"Alright." Antonio threw his coat onto Kahu. "You can have your dog carry you to the Med Room." He said as he walked away.
"No no no no, wait. Wait!" Kap coughed.
I laughed as I held out my hand. "C'mon."
