*Heavy profanity ahead*
P.O.V.: James
Noah wasn't happy. This was our first failed mission in the past three years. We had a reputation to keep, and now the Exterminator and the Jocks have dirt on us. Gloating perks. None of us were happy, but Noah was furious with the guys.
Ben and Antonio sat on the couch and were both eating grilled cheese sandwiches while they listened to Noah's rant about how they suck ass and why they should go back by themselves to get the job done while he paced around the living room. Both of them, Antonio especially, were continuously talking back with some very good points of why Noah's plan wasn't exactly a god's send. But he just continued to counter their words with heavy sarcastic remarks.
Kap wasn't in the conversation, otherwise Noah would have had to deal with his own sarcasm. Instead, he sat at the dining table with his shirt off and Catherine standing behind him while she stitched the back exit wound of the bullet in his shoulder. The front was already stitched. He continued to tap his finger on the table and shake his knee with an irritated face with a wince every here and there. Kahu sat next to him, licking his fingers.
Cameron sat with his back to the wall quietly playing a sad tune with his guitar. He was already in pajamas with eagerness to get the day over with. His puppy dog eyes glanced at Noah and back to Ben and Antonio like he was waiting for a grapple.
Luna sat at the counter eating her own grilled cheese. She wore her pajamas as well after she had just left the shower, with her hair still wet. She watched as Noah threw a fit, knowing that it's best to just wait until he starts to laugh it off.
Damien stood in the hallway leaning against the wall with his arms crossed. He swung his head back staring at the ceiling waiting for the academy award winning conversation for Topics That Literally Doesn't Matter.
What was I doing? Well, I was digging through the fridge for the watermelon slices. Not only was I hungry, but hopefully a can lighten up the mood by getting Kap or Cameron to say something racist about me eating watermelon.
"You fucking idiots!" Noah shouted for a twentieth time. "You guys had one job! Kill a man! That's nothing new. That's nothing unfamiliar. That's nothing you're not specialized at!"
"Hello, dumbfuck!" Ben shouted. "Your Asian-ass brain seems to continuously forget that he was expecting us! And then ambushed us with help of the Jocks! What'd your million dollar plan have to say about that?!"
"It's says you shouldn't have ran like fuckin' pussies!" Noah threw his arms in the air.
I walked back into the living room nibbling on a slice of watermelon. No one seemed to care though. Worth a shot...
Antonio shot up off the couch and got into Noah's face. Or... as far as he could reach of course. "Dumbass, what? You think you wouldn't have ran in that situation?"
"Well, I know I wouldn't have flashes the fuckers and missed out on that chance to kill the bastard!" He shouted back, making a look at Ben. A look that basically said: Like this dumbass right here.
Ben scoffed and stood up too. "It was a quick decision I had to make in a life or death situation!" He said in Noah's face. Reaching a lot better than Antonio could. "I had to save our asses because you weren't smart enough to see that happening, plus the multiple mistakes you made that almost got Antonio fought before he was even in the building! Aren't you the guy that's supposed to have everything figured out? To make sure we make it out alive, mister Man in the Chair. Wise 'ol Leader.
"Oh would you guys shut the fuck yo already!?" Catherine shouted irritatedly. She put the needle on the table as Kap stood up and grabbed his shirt. "You guys are so fucking annoying!"
"Oh, thank you..." I sighed in Catherine's direction.
"What?" Ben said at me aggressively. "You don't like listening to the big boys talk?"
I instantly put up my hands. "Wow, wow, wow. Sorry I said anything."
"Babe, would you stop?" Catherine said.
"I'm just defending myself against this bozo over here!" He shouted pointing at Noah.
"Bitch,-"
"Babe." Luna said, cutting Noah off.
"WELL!" Damien shouted over everyone. Literally... yunno... being the tallest one. "Good night!" He said, throwing his arm in the air as he turned around and walked down the hall.
"Yeah..." Cameron said standing up. "I'm with him. Good night everyone."
Only Kap, Catherine, Luna and I replied. Ben, Antonio, and Noah were too wiled up.
Kap began to walk down the opposite hall until Antonio stopped him. "Where the fuck are you going?" He said.
"Um, I'm going to go do my job and interrogate the truck driver James brought back." He said as he continued down the hall. Kahu followed shortly behind him.
"Yeah," Noah said. "Good idea. At least someone is doing their job."
It was then that Ben leaped at him and instantly took Noah into a headlock.
Oh, Jesus.
Noah pushed Ben across the room with his superior size and slammed him into the wall that separated the kitchen and the living room.
"Wow, guys!" I said, trying to pull them apart.
Catherine and Luna ran over and tried to help as well. Catherine tried to pull of Ben, Luna tried to pull away Noah, and I jammed my arms between them to get them off each other. Antonio just sat on the couch with his arms crossed.
"Kahu!" I heard Kap shout. Not a moment later, Kahu rammed his head into Ben's gut and he stumbled backwards.
"Calm down!" Kap shouted as he got behind Ben and put him into a headlock. When Ben lifted his arm to elbow him in the gut, Kap quickly changed his mind. "Ah, ah, ah. With Kahu right there, the last thing you want to do is struggle with me. You have that nice scar on your arm to prove it..." he said. Kahu growled to prove his point.
I pushed Noah away and held him back best I could with Luna and Catherine's help.
"Babe, knock it the fuck off!" Luna shouted. "If you don't, it's a hundred push-ups every two hours of every day!"
He instantly stopped struggling. "You wouldn't dare..." he said.
"Try me."
With that, Noah gave up soon after Ben did, and the silence afterwards was extremely awkward. We all just stood there, making sure nothing else happens.
With a grunt, Antonio stood up and huffed over to his room. One by one, everyone followed his action to their own rooms.
When I got into my room, and closed the door behind me, I crashed on my bed and sighed.
The next day should be interesting.
