Chapter 9-Erika Costell

JAKE POV
I get out of my truck and open the back door and get Erika out. Shes still asleep. I carry her bridal style into my house and up to my room. I put her in my bed and get her under my covers.I walk out of my room shutting the door and I go downstairs and watch the news. At first all that was mentioned was the weather but then the news reporter started talking more.
NR: 16 year old, Erika Costell was released from the hospital today after being stabbed by Alissa violet the school shooter. The school is scheduled to go back next week. The police just sent in this interview they did with Alissa.

Police: What made you do this?
A: I was targeting after one person. It wasnt supposed to end like this
Police: and who would that person be?
A: Erika Costell
Police: Why?
A: My ex boyfriend Jake Paul cheated on me with her
Police: That doesnt give you the right stab her and try and shot her
A: I was just jealous but I dont know why because I didnt even love him. I guess I just hated that he loved someone more than me because I still liked the attention
Police: Okay well thats all for this interview alissa

Then I shut off the tv. How could she lie?!
Erika didnt do anything! I didnt cheat on alissa she cheated on me! All she wanted was sex and attention. So what happens when I dont give her that? She tries and kills the only person thats always been there for me. I go up to my room and check on Erika. Shes still asleep I dont blame her. Shes been through alot the past 2 days. Todays friday so we go back in 3 days. Im really worried for Erika. Shes bout to get more shit than shes ever gotten in her entire life. But I promise when Im around her no one is gonna even look at her.
