Erika POV
I open my eyes to see Jake turned around so I could only see the back of him. Im in a hospital room. My whole body hurts like crazy.
E: Jake?
Jake POV
I hear erikas voice. I turn around and there she is.
J: Erik—-
But then a whole bunch of security guards came and dragged me out of her room.
E:No! Let him go!
J:Erika its okay
Erika POV
At this point guards were holding me down while im going crazy and crying.
SECURITY GUARD: Dont worry miss. Your safe with us
E: No the only person I feel safe with is Jake.
SG: But miss he almost raped you
E: No Jake wouldnt do that. W-were best friends
SG: See for yourself
Then the footage if the security cameras popped up on my hospital TV.
*Now crying*
E: No thats blake
SG: Whos blake
E: My ex boyfriend. He was abusive and he cheated on me multiple times.
SG: So the kid that we just arrested wasnt the guy in the footage
E: No i would recognize Jake if it was Jake
*Speaks into his walky talky*
SG: Bring the kid back here. Hes not the one.
JAKE POV
J: Why are you arresting me?
Police Officer: For sexually assaulting her
J: But i didn't do that
Next thing I know I'm shoved into the back of a police car. Then about 15 min later we turned made a uturn and we were headed back to the hospital.
J: Where are we going?
PO: Looks like you were right. It wasn't you. The girl looked at the cameras and
told us it wasn't you.
J: Why did they do that?!
PO: She had to see
J: No she didnt. That could scar her for life
PO: It had to be done
J:*Scoffs*
We arrive back at the hospital. I run in and run to erikas room.
Erika POV
Then the door bursts open and there stand Jake.
J: Erika?
E:Jake?
J: Erika, Im sorry I couldnt protect you from alissa or blake I promised I would protect you and I failed
E: Hey, hey its okay
J: No its not
E: Jake, yes it is.Ive been through tougher shit than this
J: But you dont deserve it
E: Well I cant control what happens.and neither can you. But you know what?
J: What?
E: You didn't fail. because if you hadn't got here when you did. I would've been raped. I wouldn't have been almost raped. I would've been raped. All the other shit that happened isn't anything new to me.
