Chapter 5 the tiger

The next day fluffy wakes up in his room with a something wrapped around his nose. He looks around and sees Larry sleeping on the floor next to his bed "What are you doing" Larry here's his voice and looks up "FLUFFY" he hugs him and fluffys mom walks in "are you ok" he gets out of the bed "I think I am, what happened" Larry looks at him confused "you don't remember"
"No, what happened" the mom walks up in front of him and got on her knees "Larry told me that a cheetah threw you at a wall. Your nose was bleeding and you went to the hospital. They said your nose was broken and your right canine tooth fell out and won't grow back" she sighs "and you lost you sense of smell" fluffy stares at her "so I can't smell anything"
"No, also that strap wrapped around your nose is to hold it straight" he hugs her and starts crying. "what about what happened at the school you forgot that part" Asked Larry
Fluffys mom looks at him "we'll tell him later"
They all walk down stairs and hears the door bell. She opens the door and sees the tiger. She looks up at her "Hi, I'm just here to see if your son is okay, my name is Rebecca"
"Yeah he's fine"
They both stood there quietly until fluffy walks to the door. She looks at him "hi, I'm the tiger that you saw at school, my name is Rebecca" he looks at her and then walks away. The mom looks at him as he sat in the living room on the floor "he's having a bad day, um where's your parents" her smile goes away "um...they went somewhere, can I come in"
"Um sure if you want" she walks in and sees Larry "oh hi what are doing here"
"My parents went to visit someone" fluffys mom looks at him "I'm watching him for a month"
"Cool" Rebecca walks over to fluffy "are you afraid of me" he looks up at her "no...why"
"At the school you were afraid of everyone" fluffys Mom stops her "can we not talk about that"
"Ok" she walks over to her "if you want I can take them to the lake" fluffy looks up at them and Larry runs next to her "CAN WE GO"
The mom smiles "sure, but don't spend the night there" Rebecca gets confused "what do you mean"
"fluffy and Larry slept at the lake"
"That's cool" she looks at fluffy "you want to come" fluffy doesn't say anything. "What about the hideout we were making, we could finish that today" says Larry. He doesn't say anything he walks over to him and pulls him up "please" he sits back down. Larry walks towards the door while looking at him. They both walk out and the mom looks at him "are really going to leave your friends. Isn't that what you were afraid of doing before we left the city." He looks up at her "they might think I'm insane like at the school" she froze "you do remember that"
"Yeah" she walks over to him and pulls him up from the floor "they saw what happened and they are still talking to you. I don't think they think your insane" the door opens with Larry and Rebecca standing outside "are you coming" he smiles "I'm coming" he walks out and the door closes. While walking Larry asks Rebecca "why are you taking us to the lake"
"I thought it might make fluffy happy, I don't like seeing anyone sad"
"I was not sad, I was scared" they both looked behind and sees him looking at the trees. Rebecca smiles "so, you were afraid of us"
"Only that one time"
"How come" he looks at her
"I saw everyone as monsters"
"What"
"Monsters from my nightmare"
She backs up right next to him "well we are not monsters and we won't hurt you"
When they got to the lake Rebecca runs in the building and drops her bag. Larry walks in "what's in your bag"
"Spray paint"
"Why"
"I'm redecorating this town" she sees the picture of the fox "who drew this" fluffy walks next to it "I saw it in my nightmares"
She froze "your not from here are you"
"How did you know"
"No one in this town would know about are past" she get a orange spray can and sprays over it. "WHAT ARE YOU DOING" she backs up and hands him a marker "redraw it" confused he grabs the marker and started drawing. Larry looks at her "what are you doing"
"Making the picture better"
"Done" says fluffy
She grabs a spray can that was the same color of the grey wall and sprayed the outside of the picture. She then grabs a white spray can and sprays the white fur part of the fox picture. "There, now theirs color" they both look at her "your really good at that" says Larry. Fluffy then asked "where are you from" she answered
"the biggest city where all predators and prey can be together"
"Me too" Larry looks at them both "am I the only one that doesn't know about this"
"No, the whole town banned mentioning predator and prey" she says
"Why"
"Because this town believes it causes the kids to go insane, meaning going back to your predator side and attack everyone"
She looks at fluffy "just letting you know I don't like calling them insane either" she looks at the lake and walks out the building. Larry and fluffy follows and they all stoped at the edge of the lake. Rebecca looks at them "SO...where did you guys fall asleep at"
"Here" says Larry
"And you didn't swim"
"I can't swim" says fluffy
She sits down and puts her feet in the water. Larry does the same and looks up at fluffy "are you going to sit"
"I don't want to fall in" he sits down a little farther away from the water. Rebecca stares at the water and at her reflection. "One day I'm going leave to go back to that city"
"But what about your parents"
She didn't answer and instead kicks her reflection. She looks up at them "who wants go swimming" fluffy gets worried "you okay" she answered "I'm fine, I just think if we came to the lake we should swim" Larry gets worried too "are you sure" she stares at them and slowly starts crying. she jumps in and says "does anyone want to swim" Larry jumps in and starts swimming toward her Fluffy sat and watched them both, he then looks at the water and puts his feet in. He looks up at them and back at the water and while holding on to the edge he slowly moves in. Larry looks at him "what are doing"
"Trying to learn how to swim" Rebecca swims over next to him "you shouldn't, maybe one day you could bring your mom over here to teach you"
"She doesn't know how"  she stops and thinks for a little "maybe one day we could teach you and then you can teach your mom"
"Ok"
They all were in the water for a few hour. They then got out and sat near the edge. Rebecca stared at her reflection again.
"Are sure you're ok" Asked Larry. she doesn't answer and few seconds later she got up "we should go back". Fluffy gets up "I don't think you're ok"
"I'm fine" she says annoyed
they all walk back an when got to the house Rebecca says "I going to go back home now" she walks off and fluffys says good bye but she doesn't answer back. They got in the house and went to bed. At the middle of the night fluffy gets up from his bed and stares out the window looking at the lake. He gets out of his bed and sneaks out of the house.
