Chapter 3 the truth

The next day Larry wakes up and noticed fluffy was gone. He looks over at the abandon building and sees him drawing on the wall. He gets up and walks towards him "what are you doing"
"Drawing" Larry looks at the drawing and gets confused
"What is it"
"Something I saw in my nightmare last night"
"Do you always draw your nightmares"
"Yeah, it helps me understand myself more"
He looks at the picture longer and then realized what it was "is that a fox"
"Yeah, it's a fox that attacks other animals"
"I'm confused, why would a fox want to attack someone" fluffy looks at him "didn't they teach you about predator and prey"
"What's that"
"We use to be called predators which are wild animals that run around and eat the prey"
"And what's a prey"
"Did they really not teach you this"
"I guess not" fluffy looks back at the picture and then had an idea. He grabs him and pulls him out of the abandoned building "what are you doing"
"Going to teach you a history lesson"
"But I don't like history"
"I don't care" Larry gets confused again "what does predator and prey have to do with history"
"Because we were different way long ago"
6 minuets later Fluffy leads him into the town. He turns and looks at Larry "where is the museum"
"Why"
"Just tell me" Larry tells him to follow. When they got to the museum fluffy was confused "why are there police signs"
"They're tearing it down next year"
"Why"
"They said there were stuff that caused other animals in our town to go insane" fluffy looks at it for a minute and then runs in "FLUFFY STOP" Larry follows behind him. He crawls under the police tape and went inside. He sees fluffy standing in the middle of the building staring at the wall amazed "you look like you never went to a museum"
"I got kick out last time I went" he walks over to a painting on the wall. Larry walks up behind him "it looks like the same fox you drew at the lake"
"Kinda, But mines doesn't look real" he looks at a door with a sign that says predators. He walks over to it and opened the door. While Larry was look at the fox painting he hears fluffy yell. He runs over to the room and saw that Fluffy was on fours, growling. Larry looks up and sees a bunch of animals that looked like they were growling back. He looks at fluffy "what are doing" He looks at the animals and sees a wolf. He walks up to it and sees a sign that says grey wolf. he looks back at fluffy and sees him growling at a fox statue. He looks at the statue and back at fluffy. He turns and looks at the Grey wolf statue again. He stares at the eyes horrified then he gets a quick flash back of him ripping a pillow with his claws and then another of scratch marks on a wall. He looks down at his claws and starts breathing fast panicking. he backs up and bumps into another statue of a tiger. It falls over and hits the ground. The sound scares fluffy and he runs out of the room. Larry runs after him, when he walked out of the room he sees fluffy crying in the middle of the floor "what's wrong"
"I'm not normal" he looks back at the door "I don't think I am either" he walks over to him and sits down. "my town is hiding secrets from everyone"
"When I was in the city it was one of the things we learned....that everyone here used to be wild and crazy" says fluffy.
Larry stares at the wolf statue through crack of the door "is that really what we used to be like"
"Yeah"
"I'm kinda glad we don't learn that"
fluffy looks at him "it's better to remember it"
"Why"
"Because we are not what we think we are"
an hour passed and fluffy stood up "we should go home" they both left the museum and walked home in separate ways. When fluffy got back home his mom sees him. "FLUFFY" she runs to him and hugs him "where were you I called the police to try find you"
"I was at the lake" she moves back and looks at him "are you okay, you look like you were crying"
"Im okay"
She hugs him again "please don't leave without telling me" he pushes back slowly "I'm going go to my room"
"Are you hungry"
"No" he goes upstairs and lays on his bed. 3 hours passes and fluffy here's the door bell. He walks down the stairs and opens the door "HI FLUFFY"
"LARRY" he looks up and sees his mom "oh no" fluffys mom walks up behind them "hi mom" they all sat down in the living room. Larry's mom looks at fluffy "did you take my son to that museum"
"Yeah" she gets angry and fluffys mom starts talking "I don't understand what's wrong that museum" she looks at her "I don't want my son to know what happened back then" Larry looks at her "it wasn't that bad, I learned history"
It went silent for a minute and fluffy stands up "why is your town hiding the museum" she looks at him "because we don't our kids to know what we were like" Larry looks up at his mom "can I sleep over here" they all stop talking for another minute she stands up "tomorrow we can talk more about this, I'm sorry I just don't want my son to become insane" fluffy froze "what do mean"
"Animals that act like they used to are considered insane" she answered
Fluffy got mad "NO THEYRE NOT, ITS NORMAL" he starts crying. His mom stands up "he's having a bad day, nice meeting you I hope you have a good day" she looks at fluffy who fell on his knees crying harder. "Larry you can sleep over if you want" he looks at her "thank you" he walks over to fluffy and sat next to him. Fluffys mom looks at her "you don't hate us"
"No, I saw your son and what ever he's going through I think there was reason they became friends" she walks out the door. Larry pokes fluffy until he looked up at him. Fluffys mom walks by them but stops after hearing Larry say "your not insane" and turns to see him hugging fluffy they both walk upstairs and went to bed while Fluffys mom sat down in the living room looking at a picture and then starts crying.
