Chapter 7 the rhino

The next day Larry wakes up and sees that fluffy was gone. He walked down stairs and He looked in the kitchen. He sees fluffy's mom trying to call someone on the phone.
"What's wrong"
She looks at him "have you seen fluffy"
"No I thought he was down here"
He realized that she was crying a little
"Maybe he went outside" says Larry
She was about say something else but stopped after hearing someone on the phone. "hello, I need help my son is gone and I was wondering if you could search around the town for him"
She smiles "thank you" and puts the phone on the table. Larry walks up to the table and sits down "you know we did this last time"
She looks at him "did what"
"Ran off and stayed over night...at the lake"
She sits down in the seat in front of him and stares at the phone. After A minute of silence Larry asked "when are my parents coming back" she moved the phone towards him "asked them"
He picks it up and starts calling them. "They didn't answer"
"Maybe they went somewhere like the movies or somewhere they can't use their phones"
"I hope so" he says worried.
Meanwhile at the lake fluffy wakes up and sees Rebecca spray painting the wall. "What are you doing"
She looks at him "your awake, here" she throws a can towards him. He catches it and looks at it "what do you want me to do with it"
"Help me make this place look nicer" she says excited
He stands up and walks towards the wall. "What do I have to paint" he said staring the can
"ANYTHING"
"Why are you so happy today"
She smiles "because I found a Place I can finally stay at"
Fluffy gets confused "what do you mean, didn't you come here a lot before"
"Yeah"
"Then why are you excited"
"why are you not excited" she says
He looks at the can and then hears someone yell "HEY STOP THAT" he looks up and sees a rhino police officer standing in front of the door "what do you think you doing"
Rebecca walks over to him "well look who showed up to ruin the party"
He grabs the can out of her hand "I can't believe you're teaching a little kid this"
She looks at fluffy who was confused and scared at the same time. "This kid, my one horned devil friend, is actually from the city like me" he stares at him and says "your from the city"
Fluffy stood their afraid about what's going to happen. "Um....yeah...I...um...was..." Rebecca cuts him off. "he's actually not the one of the kids who would spray paint random peoples houses and other stuff"
The rhino says "first of all, I told you, its called vandalism and it's illegal here" she stops him and says sarcastically "no...really" he stares at her annoyed "you should really not talk like that to a cop"
He looks at fluffy "what's your name"
Fluffy slowly places the can on the ground "my name is fluffy"
Fluffy saw that the cop was confused "what's your real name"
"I don't know"
Rebecca steps in and says "are you going to arrest us both or just me"
He sees fluffy slowly putting his hands up "I'm not arresting you both. Fluffy you come with me and I'll drive you home" Rebecca walks out the building and the rhino stops her "your coming too"
She turns around "why"
"So you can tell his parents what your teaching him" they both got in the car and a hour later fluffy's mom hears the door bell. She runs to and opens it. She starts crying and hugs fluffy and then sees the rhino "thank you"
"You son was at the abandoned building near the lake and this tiger here was teaching him how to vandalize" she looks and sees Rebecca
"I'm sorry" she says
Fluffy's mom looks back at the rhino "it's fine, she friends with him"
"Told you" she said smiling at the rhino
"I didn't say....forget it" he looks back at the mom "make sure your son knows that vandalizing is bad" he looks at fluffy "also don't go outside in the middle of the night, it's to dangerous"
Fluffy froze "why"
"Because....I'll tell you later" they both leave and fluffy looks up at his mom "what's van...da...Liz....um" the mom smiles "it's where you do things that ruin... other people's stuff"
As they walk to the kitchen fluffy asked "then what's...ill...eagle"
"It's pronounced ill...legal and it means you can't do something that the city don't want you to do or else you will get in big trouble" they sat down and fluffy's mom realized he was getting sad "what's wrong"
"I miss the city"
