Chapter 6 The paw prints

Fluffy walks out the door and looks around. He then walks towards the lake and while walking he hears a noise and looks towards the woods next to the path. "IS ANY ONE THERE" he yells nervously. He looks hears the noise behind him and starts walking faster. While walking he picks up a stick. He waited for a few seconds and the quickly turns around swing the stick. He sees nothing "WHO EVER IS MESSING WITH ME.....PLEASE STOP, YOUR SCARING ME" he starts walking again and for the rest of the way he doesn't hear the noise again. When he got to the lake, he walks into the abandoned building and sat down. He pulls out a maker from his jacket pocket and start drawing on the wall. A few minutes later he hears "what are you doing here" he turns around and sees Rebecca "I was bored so I came here to draw" he answered
She looks down "what are you drawing"
"Same thing like always"
"The monsters from your nightmares"
"Yeah"
It goes quite and then Rebecca says "okay have fun" she turns around
Fluffy stands up "where are you going"
"To the shops to get more spray paint"
It goes quite again with them staring at each other. She down and sees his drawing "you want to come"
They both walk into the path towards town and while walking Fluffy picks up a stick and looks around nervously. Rebecca looks at him "what's wrong"
"Were you the one that was making noises in the woods"
"No, why"
"I heard someone running around and scratching at the trees" she laughs "why do you think it was me"
"Was it"
"No"
When they got to town Rebecca walks towards one of the stores and pulls on the door and it doesn't open "crap"
Fluffy pushes at the door "Yeah it's locked"
"Really"
"Just making sure since you didn't read the sign" he points next to the door and it says push.
Rebecca looks at it "I knew that, I was just checking if you could read"
Fluffy looks around and Rebecca walks to the side of the building. Fluffy follows and sees her look up at a open window.
fluffy says no and Rebecca looks at him "please, I can lift you up to it and you can climb in"
He looks up at it "fine"
Fluffy climbs up on her and climbed into the window. When got in he looks around but it was too dark "I need a flashlight" Rebecca pulls out her phone "you better catch this" fluffy stood under the window and Rebecca throws the phone through it. He catches the phone and turns on its light.
Rebecca then says "unlock the door"
He unlocks it and Rebecca walks in and grabbed some cans of spray paint. She turns to walk out the door and was blocked by fluffy "what are you doing"
"Are you going to pay for it" he says
She stares at him and then handed him the cans. She pulls out money and placed it on the table "happy"
"Yeah"
They both walked out and went back to the river. They sat down in the building and Rebecca asked "what color"
"What do you mean"
"What color do you wanna use"
He looks at the cans and said "orange"
He handed the orange to fluffy and said spray the paint onto your paw"
"why"
"You'll see"
He sprays it on his paw "What now"
She looks at his paw and and grabbed the can. She then sprays his paw again five more times. She grabbed a blue and sprayed hers 6 times and placed her paw on the wall. "Your turn"
Fluffy did it and their paw prints were on the wall "why did we do that"
She does it again "I use to do it a lot"
"Why" asked fluffy
She does another one
"It helps"
fluffy sprays his hand and made another print "with what"
She smiles "my family would do it to any new house we move to"
Fluffy makes another print "How many times have you moved"
"A lot"
She makes another "Sometimes I would go back to our old houses and try to find it"
She make a print "and they wouldn't be their, so I would buy paint and make new paw prints on it. but in a place where they wouldn't see it"
"Why"
"Because I didn't want it to be gone"
She makes another paw print but then smears it. Fluffy gets worried and asked "are you okay"
She starts crying a little "one day I placed my paw on the wall ,I felt strange and started scratching at the wall" fluffy looks at her paw and sees that her claws are out. She smears the other prints "the owners came out of the house and saw me growling at them, they called the police and they placed a small cage over my mouth" she starts shaking and scratching the wall "they took me away from my family and Locked me in a cage. I got out and ran away, I ended up here in this town and everyone called me crazy and insane. Now I have to hide my self away from everyone thinking they will take me back to that place" She then sees fluffy placing his paw down and left an orange print. She looks up at him and he says "your not crazy it's just being normal" he says
She looks at the picture of the fox the fluffy drew "Which is really Normal, being how we were back then or what we are now"
They both sat looking at the lake through the window, Rebecca fell asleep and fluffy sat there staring at the paw prints he then looks at his claws and thought which is really normal.
