ANGEL IN SIGHTAJ POV
As I ran around the corner of the grassy and abandoned playground with my best and only friend, a great dane dog named Mouse, thoughts were filling my head to the point of bursting. My pathetic attempt to ignore them by blasting music into my headphones was soon overthrown by someone blasting some song I recognized my friend playing to me earlier.
I had tried everything to drown out the pain, the pain of my family, my school, and lack of relationships but the pain was beginning to learn how to swim... until I saw her.
Out of literal shock of her beauty, I forgot how to run. I stood like an idiot, gawking at the angel in front of me in pure shock that such beauty even existed. She didn't have a model-figure body or a perfect smile, but her aura gave me warmth unknown to my cold and shattered world. She was dancing, not any specific form to identify, I guess similar to if hip-hop and ballet joined to create a new type of dance. It hurt to see someone so obviously passionate about the sport. I missed it so much... I leaped out of thought as I noticed Mouse, running ahead to greet her. He interrupted the Angel's dancing. I swear she swayed her body as if the music lived within her.
Mouse sprinted up to her, as if he noticed how beautiful she was as well. "Damn, even my dog has better game than me", I thought, as I saw the girl grinning from ear to ear as she crouched down to ruff up the dog's massive body, flopping his ears from side to side.
As the music continued to play, she held Mouse's paws so he was standing on just his hind legs and danced to the music with him without a care in the world. Mouse had obviously ruined a dance routine of sort and she didn't even seem to mind. She was just so care-free.
The Angel of a woman began to fiddle with the dog's collar, most likely in hopes of finding a name or owner.
As I was attempting to redeem concious from the sight, I heard the sexiest sound I have ever heard. Her laugh. I looked up to see her laughing at the dog's name. Her laugh was so contagious my attempt to be a silent ninja stalker failed as I began to laugh as well.
She instantly looked up in shock. Her green eyes widening as she took in the person standing in front of her. Oh yeah. Me.
Instantly growing slightly self-concious knowing she was very much out of my league I attempted to cover how sweaty and gross I looked by running my hand through my hair while simuoutaneously shaming myself for most-likely looking stupid.
My fears faded however when I saw her smile once more. She was smiling. At. Me.
"Shit" I though. I need to say something. After a weird sound which can only be classified as a grunt escaped my mouth, a weak "hi" followed.
She chuckled slightly and then spoke up, ignoring a greeting she leaped into asking, "Is this your dog?"
Slowly remembering that speaking was typically a common skill required for small talk, I cleared my throat once more, slightly more confident. I began to shake my head slightly and laugh as I answered her question,
"And best friend, yes."
The laughing continued as she once again roughed up the dogs ears, brought her face very close to his and whispered with a bit of rasp in her voice, " We can be best friends, right?".
Mouse instantly tackled her with kisses, licking all over her face.
I decided to add my wit in attempt to befriend this gorgeous and confident woman by saying "I think that is a yes."
She seemed shock to remember there was someone else other than her and Mouse.
"Shit. She alreadly forgot about me." my brain racked.
She began to rip Mouse's body and his slobber off of her and stand up, dusting off her oversized black carpenter jeans sinched at the ankles.
And began walking toward me.
This. Angel. Was. Walking Toward. Me.
