Chapter 17 : The Night

Beep  -  Beep  -  Beep  -  Beep

Groaning in annoyance, I opened my eyes and got my phone to turn the alarm off. As much as I needed to wake up, I just wanted to close my eyes and fall back into my peaceful slumber.

However, a few people made that not happen ; they really wanted me to suffer... 

Both Hyerin and Jiyeon woke up very early, apparently. And they have decided to come over to my house--without calling me beforehand.

"Hello~ Good morning sweetheart, it is time to wake up!" Jiyeon says.

"Yeah, get up and get ready!" Hyerin shouted.

"How did you guys even get in?" I asked, since mother goes to work before I ever wake up and she sure as hell didn't leave the door unlocked and allowed them to come in.

"We have a key." Jiyeon says, proudly holding the key in front of my face. "Did you not know?"

"Uh... no," I replied. In the end, I was dragged into my bathroom where I got ready. For a few hours we hung out and talked. We finished getting dressed and helping eachother put on our makeup.

We then proceeded to take Hyerins car to a barber shop where we get our hair done, and went back home where we would get picked up by our dates.

"You nervous, Y/n?" Jiyeon asked, and I stared at her for a while.

"Yeah--uh, no. Well, kind of." I admitted. There was a churning feeling on my stomache, it felt like I had butterflies and they wouldn't go away. I also felt warm in my chest and cheeks, as if my heart was beating fast and I was blushing.

I inhaled and exhaled, trying to calm down. "It's going to be alright. There is literally nothing to be afraid of, okay?" Jiyeon told me. She was always caring and her words always soothed me. She was always someone I can go to for help and comfort.

"Yeah, don't worry. Even if you trip and fall and embarrass yourself, everythings going to be fine~" Hyerin said, making us all laugh. She was also someone I can go to for help and laughs.

Both of these girls were amazing. We talked again and laughed on the couch until there was a knock on my door.

And that knock caused my heart to beat faster, and my cheeks to get warmer. I got stiff, and my breathing hitched--I couldn't move so Hyerin stood up to get the door.

Once she opened it, she welcomed the boys inside, and they came in one by one. I forced myself to stand once they all came in.

They were all wearing tuxedos, and they were all handsome. "Wow, you guys look great~" Jimin said.

"We look great? You guys look amazing" Hyerin said.

"Everyone looks amazing, okay?" Yoongi said, smiling a bit. It seemed a bit odd since Yoongi was complimenting everyone, but he seemed sincere so I didn't think much of it. ;

"Anyways, shall we go?" Taehyung asked, his hand held out for me to take. I smiled and held his hand, "Yeah" I  replied.

We all got out and went into our cars. The couples went into Jin's van, which held 11 people. Jin drove with Namjoon in the passenger seat. In back of them was me, Hyerin, and Jiyeon. Then it was Taehyung, Jimin, and Hoseok. Finally in the back row it was Jungkook and Yoongi.

We then drove to the school where the dance was held. The place where our story began...

I plan on making at least 20 chapters in this story, so it isn't over yet~
