I Love You (Taehyung/V X Reader)

Chapter 20 : Yes {Fin}

A few weeks had passed since the night of the dance ; since the night many people had fun, never forgetting the hours they had spent.

It was now a Sunday morning, and Y/n was getting ready for her day since Taehyung is taking her out on a date. Lately, they have been focusing on school since it was their last year and they needed to get into a good college [and the same college].

At times they would work together but not always. So they decided to spend their Sunday together.

Y/n finished getting ready, wearing something comfortable but casual. Hearing a knock, she ran to the door, opening the door only to see Taehyung.

He  smiled, his box smile which made your heart beat a bit more faster (Cliché). "You look, cute" He continued to smile.

You smiled back replying with, "And you look, handsome~"

Both of you smiled, leaving your house and entering Taehyungs car.

As he turned his key, the car turned on, and music began to play. It was a beat I didn't recognize but I continued to listen since it sounded good.

Suddenly, someone sang and it sounded familiar, "Wait, is that-?"

"J-hope? Yeah." Taehyung responded, beginning to drive to our destination.

"My first date with you

My heart keeps pounding like a kid"

I chuckle, listening to the rest of the song. "So you guys are on the radio now?"

Taehyung shrugs, smirking, "Maybe~"

Taehyung turns the volume up, making the music louder, and then sings along.

Right as the song finishes, Taehyung pulls over. He turns his key, turning off his car, and switches his position to stare at me.

I stare back, and now we're in a staring contest, with silence surrounding us.

"Y/n..." Taehyung starts after a while of silence. We continued to look into each others eyes, not daring to break contact.

I stayed silent, only to hear his voice. "Are you happy being with me? Are you not regretting anything?" He asked, and I couldn't believe what he said.

He was silent, waiting for my answer. I stared in his eyes, which was full of curiosity.

I inhaled and spoke, "Yes, I am happy--and no, I don't regret anything at all... I don't regret anything because I love you..." 

I was confused as to why he would ask me something like this, but he smiled--and I just had to let it go.

"Good, because--" he stopped and took out a small box out of his pocket, and curiosity now filled me. What is that box for?

"I love you, too. And I don't regret stalking you and putting gifts in your locker." He said.

"Hold up, stalking me-"

"And I don't regret annoying my parents to bring me back, because I saw you--and I fell in love, again even though I told myself it wouldn't happen ; that this would never happen. But I couldn't help but fall even more, even though I had lots of doubts." He chuckled, and looked down at the box in his hand. "And I don't regret buying this, and making you smile."

He holds the box in front of me, opening it, and revealing a--ring pop...

I laugh and he does, too.

"I'm joking," He takes out another box, smaller. "Y/n... Will you promise to stay with me even if we have bad days?" He questions, and I nod.

he opens the box, revealing a ring with a small crystal at the top. "This is a promise ring..." He says, and I smile widely.

"And I promise to wear it everyday..." I say, leaning in to kiss him. He leans in, too, and we share a passionate kiss. He backs away for a moment, and says, "You better, or you're getting punished~"

I had no time to reply because he smashed his lips back to mine.

And for the rest of the day, both of us had a wonderful time. Listening to more songs Taehyung and his group, BTS had recorded.  

And a crazy adventure has come to an end...

Or has it?

for now hehehe... just kidding... well maybe I randomly get ideas so who knows if I might continue and make more stories of this love~

Well, thank you all! For being patient and reading every chapter until its end. I really enjoyed this book, and writing it. It was a fun journey that began last year because of a short story I read in class.
