Chapter 7

Shreya's POV

I cant believe, I am in his room. In his house as his wife. I wish I can go back to yesterday when I went on a date with Mayank.

Oh no. How will I face Mayank?. What will he think of me.?

Flashback.

After Anirudhh left, me and dad started going through all the files and papers present there so that we can find any loophole. But we found none.

Mayank was unreachable. My dad tried seeking help from other influencial people but no one was ready to help dad and most importantly none wanted to go against Anirudhh.

It was half past eleven when a group of policemen came to our home and tried arresting dad stating that he has'nt payed for the loan he took 2 years ago to open one of his office branches.

Mr. Anirudhh soon arrived, he talked to the police and said that he would pay all the debts that were on my dad only if I married him.

My dad was about to get arrested when I accepted his offer of getting married to him.

I said yes and the next minute the police left the place, Mr. Anirudhh talked to the bank and payed all the money.

2 hours later he came and gave me a saree and a few jewelleries and ordered me to get ready.

After I got dressed in the clothes he gave me. I was called downstairs in the living room.

There stood a Marriage registrar along with Anirudhh and two other men. My parents stood there silently, looking guilty.

Anirudhh came to me held my arm and took infront of the registrar.

The registrar took some papers out of his briefcase and extended the papers to us. Anirudhh grabbed those papers and after reading signed them.

He extended the paper and pen towards me and with shaky hands and glassy eyes I signed them. A tear escaped my eyes as soon as I signed the paper and smuged the ink.

I was broght back to present when the door opened and Anirudhh entered the room with my luggage.

He kept the bag containing my luggage at the corner and said "you go and get changed. The saree must be heavy. I will help you to arrange your clothes in the closet." He said.
This is the first time he talked to me without anger. He sounded casual.

Earlier whenever he talked to me he was stern, angry, irritated. But this time he talked to me normally.

I didnt react and just opened my bag. I grabbed a top and lower and started walking towards the bathroom.

Once I entered the bathroom. I got inside the shower cubicle and opened the shower the water was falling on me giving me comfort. Slowly tears started escaping my eyes. I stood under the shower with tears in my eyes.
I was disturbed by a knock on the bathroom door "There is a door on the left that will lead you directly to the closet." He yelled.

Again he talked to me normally.

I soon ended the showering session and opened the left door where he told me closet was. I entered the closet and I saw his clothes all around.
