Chapter 10

After Shreya expressed her anger by throwing and smashing everything in Anirudhh's room. She got unconscious. Anirudhh heard all the smashing and screaming done by Shreya in his room standing behind the locked door. He paced around but after a while all he heard was her sobs, but a little later nothing was heard. He kept his ears against the door but he heard nothing. He knocked the door calling Shreya.

But he got no response. He hurried downstairs to his study and picked a bunch of keys kept on the table. He went back upstairs towards his room and unlocked the door with keys.

As soon as he opened the door he heard shattering of glass that came under his shoes. He carefully entered and looked ahead at Shreya unconscious on the floor around shattered glass pieces. Her hands were bleeding due to pieces of glass stuck in her arms. He stepped closer to her and bent down, he took a glance at her unconscious form her left feet was injured too. A big piece of glass was stuck in her ankle. He slowly and carefully pulled her in a sitting position and then picked her in his arms in bridal way.

He looked at the bed and it was also covered with the mess she created. Anirudhh went to another room beside his room and layed her on the bed.

He called a doctor who was his friend.

After 15 minutes the doctor came. He bandaged her wounds and gave her an injection.

"Thanks Anuj" Anirudhh said to the doctor.

"That was my duty Anirudhh. But you have to take care of her. She is weak and depressed. Also her injuries were deep. I had to stitch her wounds. I wont ask you why this happened or how. But you have to be careful, the next time something like this happens it will be deadly for her." Dr. Anuj suggested Anirudhh.

Anirudhh nodded "Yes. I will take care of her."

Anuj gave instructions to Anirudhh about Shreya's medicines.

Soon Anuj left, Anirudhh left shreya in the room because according to Dr. Anuj, Shreya will gain her senses after 2 hours. Anirudhh came downstairs and went to his study. His study had a mini bar. He took a bottle of alcohol and drank half of the bottle while sitting on his working desk.

Anirudhh was drinking alcohol but he was not drunk because he has a high tolerance to alcohol. Being an addict, this amount of consuming alcohol had no effect on him.

He glanced at the wall clock and saw that almost 1 and a half hour has passed. He stood up and went back to the room where Shreya was sleeping under the influence of medicines that Dr. Anuj injected her with. He sat on the bed beside Shreya, after 15 minutes, Shreya started stirring.

Anirudhh stoop up and grabbed a glass of water and kept it on the night stand.

Soon Shreya opened her eyes slowly. She was greeted by an emotionless face of Anirudhh.

A few tears escaped her eyes. She stared at Anirudhh. She said nothing. Anirudhh took the glass of water and said calmly "Drink it. You will feel better." He extended the glass towards Shreya but she turned her face otherside. Anirudhh slide his unoccupied hand behind her head and picked her head a little up. He made her drink the water, though at first Shreya tried to deny him but she had no energy left to fight against him. She slowly gulped the water. Once she was done, she used one of her injured arms to remove the glass away from mouth.

Anirudhh on understanding what she was trying to say, kept the glass on the night stand and gently laid Shreya's head back on the pillow.

Once she was comfortable on the bed Anirudhh asked "How do you feel?"

Shreya stared at the ceiling silently. Anirudhh stood up and went out of the room.
