|| The Favor ||

Zico brought Heehyun to an orchard for picnicking and apple picking. He even prepared a picnic basket for their lunch.

"You prepared a lot." Heehyun couldn't help getting surprise to see the picnic basket and even a bouquet of flower especially for her.

Zico made salad in mason jar, Korean seaweed rice rolls, Korean kimchi pancake and even brownies.

"Your cooking is really amazing." She admired.

After lunch, Zico guided the way through the orchard as they started picking apples. He cleared the branches out of the way for her to walk comfortably.

"Let's see who pick the prettiest apple. The loser will owe the winner a favour." Zico suggested.

"Deal!" Heehyun nodded almost immediately. They separated to look for apples. And since this orchard had been Zico usual spot, he knew the area with the best looking apple, he knew victory was right in his hand.

10 minutes later they met again. They asked the orchard owner to pick out the winner. Heehyun showed her apple. It was beautiful. It had a harmonizing mix between red and light pink with lovely aroma. But Zico's was even prettier. It was alluringly red and charmingly round. Heehyun couldn't help having her eyes wide opened. She knew she lost.

"Can I have my favour then?" Zico smiled cheekily. "Can I have a kiss on my cheek?

Heehyun started to understand. Zico had planned this. He knew he was going to win. That's why he looked so confident.

"I want to take a picture." Zico took out of nowhere an instant camera. He looked at her hopefully. Heehyun hesitantly moved towards him. She didn't want to this. She felt like she would die in embarrassment.

"Do you want me to close my eyes?" He playfully teased.

Her eyes dilate a little until she decided to just go for it. She felt her heart rate increased. She finally pressed her lips against his left cheek as she filled him with happiness. The camera snapped the same time she kissed him.

Zico was living in the moment. It was an incredible feeling of joy. As soon as her lips lift his cheek he covered his face in shyness. It felt like he was a kid again, getting all excited to see his crush on Monday morning at school. Just lovely.

The camera printed out a polaroid shortly after. Zico looked at the photo and looked at her for a long while.

"What?..." She asked as she started to feel uncomfortable with his gaze.

"Your side profile is really pretty. I never notice that." He complimented as she smacked him a little. She didn't know what to say.

After the picnic and the apple picking, Zico drove Heehyun back to her dorm. The car ride was rather silent. The repercussion from kissing him was still there.

"Thank you for today, oppa." Heehyun finally managed to mutter some words.

DIA comeback was today on Inkigayo. And coincidentally, Zico was invited as a special MC for the show.

*Knock Knock* Zico knocked on DIA's waiting room. In his hand was two bags full of food. And by food, he meant good food.

"Oh! Annyeonhaseyo." DIA's Eunice opened the door and was surprised to see him. She quickly greeted.

"Heehyun unnie is not here." Ye in said, knowing what Zico was expecting just like the back of her hand. Zico couldn't help but chuckle.

"Where is she?" Zico asked, scratching the back of his neck.

"She said she would be back soon. I don't know where either." Yebin answered. Zico thought of going to look for her. But he was afraid they would find him rude if he did so. He was in a difficult position.

Fortunately, Heehyun came back at the right time, together with Chaeyeon.

"Oppa!" Heehyun was surprised to see him. She looked at him happily.

"Where were you?" He questioned.

"I was with my friend from Produce 101." She explained as her gaze moved towards the two bags in his hand.

"I bought this for you guys." Zico remembered the food he brought. He put it on the table for them. They gathered around and started digging in.

"Oppa!" Suddenly, Chaeyeon, with a paper knife, stabbed it onto the table surface. "Are you treating Heehyun well?"

"Are you drunk?" The member teased her. Chaeyeon usually threatened people when she got drunk. But she shook her head firmly.

"I'm treating her in the best way I could." Zico said, exchanging eye contact with Heehyun.

"You're not a good boyfriend then. Our leader unnie is so precious you have to treat her better than the best." Somyi, the youngest, pouted.

"I'll try my best." Zico stood up and bowed playfully.

"Didn't know having lots of *sisters* would be this tough..." Zico thought to himself.

They eat and talk joyfully. Heehyun would offer him something to eat every now and then. Chaeyeon couldn't help watching how her friends had gotten cheerier in the past weeks. She hoped Zico was the right one.

Talking about the two, Zico was wiping her lips with a piece of tissue. He did it so gently with a loving gaze. His affection for her was clearly seen.

In all of sudden, there was a knock on the door. It felt pretty noisy outside. Zico immediately found a corner where he couldn't be seen and hid there. Their relationship had to be secret, he couldn't let other idols see him in DIA's waiting room.

It turned out to be AOA, his ex girlfriend Seolhyun's girl group. They were having their comeback at the same time as DIA and they wanted to give their album to DIA. Unfortunately for him, Seolhyun had spotted him. But one thing he could be sure of was that it was only her who found him and she wouldn't go out and spread the fact he was in a girl group waiting room hiding.
