Today was Zico's birthday and Heehyun decided to throw him a secret exclusive birthday party with the help of Block B members.
The party consisted of three parts: the decorations, the food and the presents. Balloons were put up all over the ceiling and in the corners. Disco lights were set up to enhance the mood. there was also a table for everything else. The members and Heehyun decided to order fried chicken and pizza. Heehyun learned to bake the birthday cake and also some brownies. For the gifts, Block B members prepared a huge gift box for Zico while Heehyun bought him a luxurious Swiss wristwatch.
"Oppa, where are you?" Heehyun called Zico.
"I'm at home." He replied. Zico was feeling disappointed today since Heehyun declined his invitation to hangout today. She told him she had something else to do.
"Can you come to this address? Like...right now? Don't ask me why, just come quickly." She demanded and messaged him the address after turning off the call.
Rather than feeling hopeful for something surprising on his hopeful, Zico felt worried if something happened to Heehyun. He rushed to get change and drove off to the address as soon as possible.
*10 minutes later*
Zico arrived at the destination, standing in front of the hall room. He turned the knob and opened the door. The first thing that hit him was an uncomfortable darkness. The second thing was an overpowering brightness. Someone turned on the lights.
"SURPRISE!" He heard voices shouting with paper fireworks flying all over the places. He realized they were Block B members.
The members made some space for a girl standing behind them, Ki Heehyun. She approached Zico with a birthday cake while they sang happy birthday song for him.

Zico grinned widely receiving the cake from Heehyun. He closed his eyes and made a wish. Shortly after, he blew the candles. P.O, who waited for Zico to blow the candles the whole time, took away the candles, held the cake and smashed Zico's face into it.
"Yah!" Zico's growled as they laughed. Heehyun quickly found some wet wipes and cleaned his face gently. Zico took the chance and placed a kiss on the top of her nose.
"I'm surprised though. Y'all made all these for me?"
"Heehyun did it. We just helped." Taeil spoke up.
"Yeah, we ain't that nice." P.O joked.
"Thank you." Zico clasped his arm around her waist, giving her a loving peck on her cheek as her face turned redder and hotter.

Two hours later.
The party had ended.
"Are you tired?" Zico asked when they reached Heehyun's dorm as she shook her head. "I can't thank you enough for tonight. I didn't expect any of it." He said, scratching the back of his neck.
"I did all I could. Happy birthday once again, oppa." She replied him.
Heehyun tiptoed, her hands stretching behind her back as she leaned in and placed a kiss on his lips. She intended for a quick kiss. But Zico gained the initiatives when his arms found their ways to her waist and embraced her. He pulled her closer, until there was no gap between them and kissed her passionately. His soft lips brushing against hers felt like electric shock. It got her knees weak...
...
"Heehyun-ssi, this photo of you and Zico is causing the fans to go all wild right now." Jaesuk said as the screen proceeded to show the picture a paparazzi had taken of them kissing on the night of Zico's birthday. Heehyun was filming for Happy Together.
"I gotta say I have never expected you two to date. How did it all start out?" Myungsoo asked as Heehyun took her time to think a little. She needed to be cautious with these kind of questions.
"We just began as normal colleagues. We met a few times through Chaeyeon, exchanged phone numbers and texts and we started developing feelings for each other since then." Heehyun answered.
Meanwhile, at Radio Star.
"Zico-ssi, I heard you were dating DIA's Heehyun, are the rumors true?" Jongshin questioned.
"Yes, they are true." Zico replied, being extremely cautious. He didn't want any of his words to affect her idol career.
"Who confessed first?" Kangnam added cheekily.
"Actually it was Heehyun who confessed first, but I rejected her because I thought I wasn't ready to be in a relationship. Then I asked her out with Chaeyeon's help and she became my girlfriend." Zico continued. Heehyun and him actually prepared a script on what they should say when people asked them about their relationship.
"Did you play hard to get? Like during texting and stuff, did you wait for 5 to 10 minutes or an hour before replying?" Simon D, who was also a guest in the show, clearly wanted to know more.
"I never do such thing. If I reply late it's only because I'm busy with work." Zico denied, shaking his hands.
"You can tell he's answering questions with caution." Jongshin noticed.
"It's natural to be cautious with these kind of questions because normally the harsh judgments would rather be more directed at the girl." Simon D explained.
